WHAT IN THE WORLD

So i went through the campaign a bit on legendary the night of release and got the update that night when i put the game in. Just tonight to play with a friend again i put the game into the drive and started it up. There said another update was available to download, so when finished i go into the game like normal and to no avail BOOM all of my progress was wiped away. All of my levels completed and the skulls collected. Anyone else experience this? Anyone know if there is a fix for this or what the heck?

This is the first I have heard of this. I have heard and experienced Halo:Reach losing all campaign progress though. I hope H:CEA doesn’t suffer from the same problem.

EDIT: Apparently you’re not the only one to have this happen. :frowning:

The CEA title update has caused quite a few issues.

I think almost every Halo update in existence has at some point caused issues with campaign progress being lost for some players, lol. I’ve been fortunate enough to never have this happen personally.

Start over is all I can say, sorry for your loss but you won’t get it back.

luckily deleting the update gives me all my progress back, however it sucks cause now i can’t play co-op online without losing it all. Hopefully another update will be put forth soon to fix the issue or atleast allow it to where i don’t lose my data so i can play online again.

I lost one level, two skulls, and one terminal. This is so random lol.

I lost nothing

I gained everything.

I lose nothing seeing how i just have the maps :stuck_out_tongue:

ahahaha so they create an update for the game to fix problems lying on the game…

BUT create more problems such as erasing all those who have completed the campaign on legendary…

are they trying to convey a message…

All your hard work 2 days after the release, people complaining of this glitch, that glitch, OMG THEY DIDNT FIX -Yoink!- for tat…

then when they do what a faithful game company would do for its community quietly give the game a band aid brace for the screams of the communitys next wave of screaming and outrage…
