Eh, not everyone who bought the game is a guns and ammunition specialist. What in hell does this do to ammo in the game…
Also can someone explain what all those weapon attachments actually do?

The Airburst Proximity Fuse makes it so that rounds fired will detonate if they happen to be close enough to a target without actually hitting them, it’s what makes Whiplash much more effective than the regular Railgun especially at long ranges.
Which weapon attachments do you want to know more about? There’s a lot of them

Its explained in the game when you choose the weapon, it has some small text that explains the benefits some of them have.
Airbust proximity fuse is probably there just for the lore.
Whiplash with the extra shots is a beast
It will lower shields of bystander when they go off. The other weapons have descriptions as well. If you are more specific we can be too.

Just like one of the rocket launchers… I watched a dvr vid a player posted, he shot the rockets straight up in the air and followed a warthog around with the reticle with smart link and rockets came booming down on it on the other side of the map! “Awesome…”

Wait what? You can guide the rocket after firing it and then smartlinking to a vehicle? Does it work on infantry?

It does work on everything as long as you smartlink them to your target.

Ad Victorium, if you smart link and then fire you can guide the rockets around as long as you stay in smart link
