What I'm hoping for from Halo 4

Throughout the Halo games, I’ve gotten to know the universe a lot more. When I first played Halo CE and Halo 2, I was very young and only played it because it was a fun and cool game that I enjoyed. It was only until Halo 3 came out when I actually realized what the games were about and started to respect the game more. Whilst waiting for Halo: Reach to came out, I accumulated a large collection of Halo items, and started to really get close to Halo, the characters and started to understand the Game, more than just by playing it, but by reading some of the books and articles from Halo Wikia. When Halo: Reach came out I was more mature, and actually understood what the characters were saying.

Back to what this topic is about, one thing that I’m hoping to gain from Halo 4, is an emotional and atmospheric experience. The first time I ever played the Halo: Reach campaign through, from the mission Long Night of Solace, the game started to play with my feelings and emotions, when Jorge died, I actually felt like a close friend had sacrificed himself in hope of saving the planet, when actually it did the complete opposite. This feeling carried on until I was making my through the ship docking area (Boneyard) with Emile. A sense of emptiness as the planet was being hammered by the large scale Covenant fleet went through me and loneliness as a result of Carter and Kat dying (Carter was my favourite character) Regardless to say, the mission Lone Wolf just made me want to throw something at my TV, “THEM COVENANT SCUM KILLING ME! NOBLE SIX!”. I’m hoping that Halo 4 brings the exact same feelings back, and more. I can imagine if anything bad happens to the Chief, or that Cortana expires and the Chief is alone… I’ll probably break down haha. If you agree you can chose an option in the poll, also reply with what you’d want from Halo 4! Not meaning weapons or stuff, I mean the initial experience, game play, everything I’ve just described!

I’m hoping I’m not the only one who had these weird feelings XD I’m not sad, I have a life, I have friends, starting a music course college etc. But I will always be loyal to the Halo Franchise!

yeah i hope so, but reach really wasnt emotional at all. that game had a terrible campaign. i could go on and on and on why it was bad

I suppose we all have our favourites
