Yah but you would only affect certain status on that weapon
for example, a dmr with a cool purple and black skin to it. Promethean death effect to when you kill an enemy. Custom scope with selectable models.

I think skins are probably more practical. CS:GO thrives on that stuff.
That customs sounds like some users making glitches and abuses
I’d bank more on skins and custom colorization instead of any other kind of tinkering.

I think the furthest customization that shold be allowed is the skin colors. And even then have it so you need to be a certain rank to get certain colors on your weapons lol
I’d prefer a custom paint for my armor. Like in Army of Two for the masks. Allowed you to edit a few layers of paint and emblems onto your armor. You could get really inventive.
