I was just reading a forum post that was talking about who was gonna die in campaign. Then I remembered the 2 TV spots that had MC in one and Locke in the other, that got me thinking what if halo went abit mass effect and gave you the choice to kill Locke or MC and depending on your choice that’s who you play as in halo 6.
Thoughts???
The 343 employees responsible for keeping the lore straight all just simultaneously had aneurysms.
.
How would Halo 6 know who you choose in Halo 5?
At any rate, nah. I feel Halo works better with a pre-determined story.
A game like Fallout, it doesn’t matter. Since the games take place a long time apart and in different locations, the canon can be explained as “different re-tellings of the same myth”. Halo doesn’t have that luxury.
How would halo 6 know who you killed off?
The same way mass effect tracked your choices from game 1 to 3.
check my posts to see what i want plz
I hope not.
It would explain the TV spots

Were you around for the “Believe” trailer for Halo 3?
Or how about Chief getting decapitated at the end of the Halo 4 E3 campaign mission?
I’m pretty sure Locke is depicted as getting killed in the Halo 5 E3 campaign mission as well.
The Scanned trailer for Halo 4 then?
Trailers are trailers, and the TV spots as far as I’m concerned are more about the respective’s view on the the other. Not actually going to happen.
I think it would be neat if we had a Halo campaign with 2 characters, like Halo 5, and have it set up with a 2-scenario system like Resident Evil 2.
I’d love there to be different endings. Would add the the replay value.
