i means its still 12 vs 12, but let the bosses and all neutrality AIs could controll by another team, for example 4 players.
it became 12(red team) vs 12(blue team) vs 4(AI team)
these 4 players could control elites、unggoy(unggoies)、jackals、hunters、prometheus(soldier、knight)、tank master rok、knight marshal、baron sraom、commander lochogos、warden eternal、and so on(all warzone bosses)
the AI team could both controll by AI or player, still use AI controll like now if player not take controll it.
and player could switch controll states from current to another just like cs: go multiplayer, that would be fun.
as we know the boss team are controll by players in fable legends, something like that, and combine some ai controll idea from cs: go.
its means all covenant and forerunner characters and bosses could controll by AI or players(its very important let AI control it when no player control it)
the winning result its so predictable now because the bosses spawn time are fix, AI are not people, its easier to take down.
its an completed new change to halo, i know its need lots of works to do, but i think it worth it.
what do you think?

Considering the damage a legendary banshee boss does, I think it would be the other way round. At least until they pull out railguns, splaser and pps.
I think this idea is worth exploring at least. It has worked in other games. I’d much rather fight a player controlled Warden or Hestro. The bosses are so predictable the way they are right now. I wish they moved around the map a lot more, rather than stand/fly in the same area.
Imagine each team has a player spawn as the Warden at the same time and they have to fight each other, while fighting everyone else.

yes, its so predictable now.
I had a similar idea. Mine is that the elites, brutes etc. You can be them…but they are a req card.

its cool idea, its not conflict. imagine when red and blue team hold there bases, they think they are safe, if AI team could use req card to spawn forces to take there bases, its funnny.
eg. req card name for AI team its covenant force(respawn small group of covenant fireteam in specific base) and forerunner force(respawn small group of forerunner fireteam in specific base), when you used req card, the small group of fireteam you respawned, you could take controll one of them and switch controll, for example, when you use covenant force req card, came out some elites ungoies jackals or few hunters, the funnny part is, you could controll one out them, and use powerful weapon req card or carrier req card, or ability req card to incredse speed just like red/blue players…
i don’t think hunters could drive or use req powerful weapons, but forerunner soldiers(halo5 campaign) could drive so do the elites ungoies, its funnny right?

I guess so
I would actually be pretty interested in adding new bosses that are controlled by a random player on Red/Blue, and having them fight each other
Example: Randomly throughout the match, the game will pick a player from each team (either randomly or based on score) and give them the option to control a special boss vehicle/character, if a player declines it will ask another player on that team, until it goes through three players, if one side doesn’t take control of the boss then both of the bosses will go to AI and still fight each other
So imagine you’re playing Warzone, when suddenly it prompts you to take control of a special Phaeton, you and the enemy player both accept so it puts you both into control of it, and you have to fight each other as well ad the opposite team, each player could be worth 25-50 VP, and when one player is destroyed the other player can continue wreaking havoc in his buffed Phaeton until he is finally taken down (These vehicles would be immune to boarding, like normal AI bosses)
it could even extend past vehicles and let players become a Promethean Knight, or Sangheili Captain with their own special set of armour abilities and weapons (So you take down the Sangheili Captain and he drops a Carbine or Storm Rifle* variant)
in some cases it could even involve multiple players, like letting 2 people from each team take control of a Hunter Squad

If this would be a thing (which I think it should be), there would be 26 players in a match instead of 24. Two of them would be able to control AI, but they would have to be on a neutral team instead of being on red or blue. The AI would spawn as normal but you would have the opportunity to take control of them until they died. One more thing that would be nice to this addition is that you can use req cards to spawn in your own minions like elites, grunts, or soldiers at random or specified locations.
It would make sense you would join a neutral playlist putting you into random games in the other playlist not having a choice what games you enter

It would be cool to have some sorta beast mode like gears 3 had but pvp instead of ai
It should be possible, if the Halo engine is anything like a lot of other shooter engines.
it would just require having the functions of the boss mapped to controls, and design a mechanic around having the player “possess” them, so to speak. Though, I’m guessing that there’s some other considerations as well.
I’m all for this, it would be a lot of fun.
