What if there was a RPG that takes place in the Halo universe? Well, this is what I would want in the game.
Open World Maps:
You choose where you want to go such as going to Arcadia to defend the civilization from Covenant attacks (players or NPCs) and other high-priority threats to being aboard a giant ship in space or a colonized planet being attacked by Covenant, Flood or anyother threat. You can head to Onyx to hide in the forest in order to snipe your enemies. Go on a Flood infected world and fight off Flood spores but if you fail, you will be food to them and become infected… or command a UNSC Frigate against a Covenant Super Carrier and battle yourself to victorious or defeat in the black void of space near a planet!
Environment:
Depending on what time your character is in, what planet you are pushing your boots into, what area you are in, what year your character is in. Your environment around you will change due to your opponents shredding it apart or passively changing quietly. Winter approaches and you must survive to a rain storm approaching, allowing you to battle it in the night forests. It will change and change for unique experience!
Assassinations:
Every faction member has their assassination animation. If your health is depleted (5 percent or lower) and they finish you off in close quarters combat, a animation sequence will start depending on if they hit you on the back, front or sides, whether you are in mid-air or on the ground, if your crouching, in prone or standing and what faction character you are.
Here’s a common example. A Spartan kicks a elite in the kneecap which causes the elite to fall down onto the ground, then the Spartan shoves the knife into its neck before slicing it to the side.
Here’s another one. Flood spores begin to invade the Spartan and the Spartan begins to struggle taking them off his arms but fails to do so. He/she falls to his/her knees and begins to shake minorally before he/she transforms into a unique flood enemy.
Community:
Community friendly staff, right fella’s?. They will help you with your problems, will continue to patch up the game regarding glitches, bugs, etc, release free downloadable content (DLC) to all players in order for other players to join in the fun aswell without being left out in the cold, allowing players to suggest new things in the game, updates continuing and continuing to keep the game alive.
They will put up statistics and forum threads to even announcements. Players who are friendly will possibly be a forum moderator along with other players in order to create a friendly environment for players instead of those hackers, spoilers, and other nasty players lurking around. Administration is given to the company only.
Character Customization:
Males will have a similiar body size to that of Master Chief, although abit bulkier. Females will almost have a similiar body to that in Halo: Reach. Both genders have the same hitpoints for balanced gameplay and will have the same height which is a big disadvantage for elites. You can change their voice suitable for what race the user chooses (i.e. russians will have russian voices.) Homeworlds can be pickable but it won’t change anything but the information. Hair style and facial structure may vary but it will be much more suitable if the helmet stays on to allow the user to see what they actually look like in their view.
Elites can have a change in jaws (like size, amount of teeth), whether their back is hunched or straight up, what their skin looks like (hexed, dark, etc), and how tall they are (since the Arbiter is taller than some Elite guards.)
Humans will have weaker health points, won’t be tall or strong in appearance like Spartans, Elites, Flood, etc. Although, they have the same bodies like marines and fellow civilians. They lack armor abilities, armor poins, etc. Humans won’t be able to shoot friendlies (such as human citizens, fellow spartans, vehicles, etc) if they are on military police. Humans won’t be able to shoot friendlies (such as guerilla rebels, civilians, etc) but will remain hostile to all factions (due to the fact they are hostile to all factions in Halo Wars.)
Both species will have changable eye colors (if face customizable is allowed in-game), perks (that will allow them to change faster), loadouts (weaponry, grenade types, permanent powerups (sprint, jetpack, etc)), class symbols ontop of their heads (which will have the suitable kind of weapon for them, Sniper class will have snipers), pictures on the shoulderpads, coloring armour, armour customization, armour type (will change the appearance of the character but it won’t change hitpoints.), nametags will be given and possibly names (but that will be abused), dogtags will be achievable by dead Spartans and tokens will be achievable by dead Elites.
Weapon Customization:
I don’t know about this one but I will talk about it anyways. Depending on what weapon type you pick, you’ll be able to add things to it. For example, the Smg can be a light grey or dark black, can add a silencer, can add a laser, can add a small holo-scope, etc. You’ll be able to add small font cravings to it, one or two graffiti, etcetera etcetera.
Weapon types and add-ons will be automatically added and will be choosable by selection to a faction depending on what team their on. ODSTs will have the modified SMG while Spartans will have the default SMG. ODSTs can choose shotguns like Spartans can but lack the standard magnum with a silenced magnum. Get what I mean?
Factions:
This is the most obvious one. You can be whatever faction you want but some will be limited depending on how much player population are in the world. For example, you won’t be able to choose the Spartan class if 1000 players are on one world and has reached their limit.
Squads:
A group of six people can join a squad. Anonymous users or friends can join a squad depending on what settings is on. For example, one squad will be consisted of Spartans, ODSTs and Elites (seperatists, not loyalists.) Each user will have their own class such as a repairsman repairing Warthogs, Tanks, Buildings, etc.
Eastereggs and Skulls:
Eastereggs will be placed around the environment just for their viewing pleasure. Like a dead rabbit on the ground with a tophat, circular glasses, black moustache to the superior 343 Guilty Spark mainframe broken apart in the grass. Skulls can be picked up by the player but will hinder their movement and must be put back to the ship.
Vehicles:
Vehicles will be available around the environment depending on where they are. A UNSC Pelican will spawn in the UNSC Frigate. You can launch it back into a planet to fly around the area but remember, there’s alot of gas due to the advanced technology the Halo franchise has so explore! Upgrade these vehicles for more firepower to overwhelm your enmemies. NPCs can enter along with fellow players but remember, ememies can “hitch” a ride too!
