Recently after i started to read some of the books i had thought of something
“is the unsc really as moral as we think”
As i get deeper and deeper into the books im starting to see that the Unsc has control of pretty much everything human and they seem almost like a nazistic esc government to me. They silence free speech, impose thier will on those who question them (hence the wars with the insurgents (who was tired of being controlled by them, they take children from thier parents not to mention how much oni likes thier secrets) In the last podcast that writer (can’t remember name) even said that halsey was a war criminal but war criminals are criminals if they are on the winning side.
so what if in halo 4 you found out the unsc has became an all controlling empire with no oppostion and that they have created killteams of new spartans (spartan 4’s ?) to silence all who question the new unsc (including the master chief, whos trying to save what makes humanity humanity) and are searching in the forerunner planet to find a weapon to secure control and peace in the galaxy (perhaps the new unsc would have good intentions but are trying to achieve them in an terrible ways) in my opinion that would add a whole new level of morality in halo rather than the typical aliens = bad and humans = good approach.
thoughts?
