So I was thinking, since Forerunners seem to be massively important for the next 3 games, what if 343 replaced being able to be an Elite with being a Forerunner? Would it sit well with you? Would you embrace or deny the change?
I for one think it would be refreshing, to be a Forerunner and have Forerunner armor.
It all depends, but the fan community will be extremely outraged if there is no Elites. It depends on the Forerunners armor too, I really can’t say.
No one replaces the Arbiter and his blargy companions.
Elites will be in Halo 4. So don’t worry.
I would rage for a while, calm down, and write 343 a strongly worded e-mail before deleting and becoming suddenly paranoid that 343 would hunt me down for even writing the e-mail, then I would quit every time someone with a GT similar to a 343 reference was in the game, then finally remember that I can’t play as an Elite anymore. Repeat.
Actually, I would be pretty disappointed. I hope that Forerunners don’t replace Elites.
Actually, I think it would be really cool to have all 3 races playable in multiplayer. It would add more of a variety to the teams and would probably be epic to see.

Elites will definitely be in Halo 4, so I’m not worried at all.
Personally I’d be highly disappointed if I was forced to be an armored monkey(spartan)as my only playable race in multiplayer. Being able to be a forerunner would help mitigate that disappointment, and replace it with momentary joy of being a forerunner(depending on if they had awesome armor or not), but eventually sadness and nostalgia would kick in and I’d miss my elite.

I know the game is already set and its too late to add elites(probably) if they aren’t already in. I just hope 343 had the foresight to recognize and help the elite fanbase(unlike bungie who gave elites the short end of the stick in reach in comparison to all that they gave spartans)

Yeah, I totally get what you mean. But if Forerunners are in, it would be pretty sweet to have Lifeworker, Builder, etc. armor be useable.

I think Elites are in it, as for MM…
I think high ranking elites should be given Arbiter armor.
And i wish to play as a forerunner, I want to play something besides a Elite, and Spartan.
