What if sprint where removed from COD in future COD games? And COD’s developers where taking a new approach to the game.
No more large maps. Only close quarters! They say.
Don’t you think their community would be pretty divided?
That’s right, 343 need to stop this before it’s to late.
Sprint doesn’t belong in Halo… it doesn’t…
Halo 2 is Halo 1.5
Halo 3 is Halo 2.5
Halo Reach was … EEEEER New… defenitly, but it wasn’t following the line of argument.
All Halo games have been new. They have. But they have’nt dramaticly changed the gameplay ether of them (except Reach). Not like Halo Reach did.
And sprint is one of those abilities that dramaticly changes gameplay.
Not like a new weapon, not like a new vehicle, not like a new power up…
Make sprint a pick up one time usage ability if anything.
I want Halo 4 to be Halo 3.5
It’s still a new game, just like the other Halo’s. I don’t get why people want a whole remake of a game keeping just the same skins…
Reasoning for why it doesn’t suite Halo and why it changes it so much can be found here
I would like you to read all my posts on this page and page two before you post so that you will comprehend what this thread is about and the underlying message I’m trying to put out.
> If Sprint were removed from CoD, that would be a good thing. CoD fans might complain and not buy it.
Then, CoD will run out of business, suddenly start copying from the new Halo, because it’s taking over. Then 343i sues CoD, and then they go bankrupt and everyone starts playing Halo!
Apparently you didn’t pay attention in Language Arts class when the teacher brought up Main Ideas and Topics in the lecture. I have no idea what I just read…

I’d be fine with it. They would compensate by upping movement speed. And I’d love to see a new CoD with some new gameplay. They’re just like Halo right now, using the same gameplay across all their games.
> No more large maps. Only close quarters! They say.
You mean like BlOps and MW3? Those are both just packed with cramped, tight maps. Which is why I went back to MW, WAW and MW2.
> Don’t you think their community would be pretty divided?
Most likely, but the CoD community is not the same as the Halo community in it’s vocality. Besides, it’s not about the community is it? The developer needs to listen to the community, then decide for themselves whether that feedback is best for the game.

Please support with an argument for your view.
> I want Halo 4 to be Halo 3.5
Ah, well that just about sums it up doesn’t it?
“This is how the game should be because I want it this way.”
When you can make an argument to support your beliefs then we can have a conversation.
> Well they aren’t cutting it. Especially in this point in development. Thus making this thread, pointless. Including others like it.

I made a suggestion in my OP.
And if not that make it only usable at full shield but that’s a worse solution imo.

@ dahuterschuterYou’re missing the underlying message here…
And the link I gave you reflects my arguments about sprint. And if you’d like to see my posts in that thread you can go to page 8 and 9.
-Blam- the quotes… They should have worked since I just quoted your whole post…
As many quote as /quote… But noooo…
I’ll just go with a “@u” reply…
A consistent feature that is used by everyone can easily be tweaked and balanced. Theoretically, if Sprint is a universal feature in Halo 4, the core gameplay will take Sprint into account before final execution. Therefore, it is more than possible for Sprint to become a positive addition to the Halo franchise.

I’m sure a lieutenant grade 2 would know what his talking about.
I obviously too realize that in the best of world sprint could work if everything was balanced around it.
And I believe Halo 4 will be a lot more fun to me than Halo Reach was.
I’m just concerned about sprint, I don’t see any good coming out of it.
