I think it would be hilarious if Spark had to interact with a huragok. They would constantly be bumping heads and stepping on each other’s toes (metaphorically) as they were both programmed to maintain Forerunner technology and have a desire to improve technology. They both have strong willed and stubborn interpretations of how to do things. Just imagine some of the Ace crew eating popcorn watching a huragok and Spark having a light and sign language argument over how to improve a system of the Ace of Spades!
Spoiler is from Renegades. I think they would probably be able to work hand-in-hand but remember
Guilty Spark is in an Armiger frame now. Meaning he may not be able to be as useful as he was as a Monitor with the say he could just use his beam instead.

I’d have to agree. Renegades opened the window for this question to be void. However if you’re talking about Spark from previous games then i’d have to say my bet is that Huragok might be able to fix him, the madness that is evident from all those centuries being alone is shown throughout all forms of Halo cannon. Spark was misunderstood and broke in my opinion. Had he been back in his prime when the Chief first met him, things might be different in the Halo universe.

He wasn’t broken, he was just doing his job trying to take care for his Installation-04. That was his task given to him by the Forerunners before they used the Halo rings to kill every sentient being in the galaxy.
Although Spark is in an armiger form now, he still helped upgrade the Ace. Every AI from Intrepid Eye to BB has had interesting interactions with huragoks and their idiosyncrasies. I feel like it would be like an old married couple.

Broken I will admit was the wrong word to use. But he himself is quoted in one of the mini series videos saying that having another monitor with him to pass the time would’ve been better that the solitude he has had to deal with. I’d imagine that much solitude for that long of a period could play tricks on the mind and being that he in a way is an ancient human mind, i could only imagine the torment he put up with on a daily basis. I do agree with you that he was just doing his job in taking care of Installation-04. I just think that some of his actions were a bit out there. I’m not talking just the action we see in the games. I’m talking his actions throughout the entire cannon of Spark. The books filled in a lot for me on him and to be honest, i can’t really blame him for all that he has done. Any other being under similar circumstances would probably do the same.

I do agree that anyone else under similar circumstances would be the same, it’s just he went a bit out of control not only because he lost his ring… again… because of Chief, but the fact he though the Ark would be destroyed too, hence why he killed Johnson and turned on the Chief but ultimately we know the Ark still produces Halo rings, and we know that there is a third Installation-04 (or dubbed as Installation-09) which we saw at the end of Halo Wars 2.
I wonder if he (now in an Armiger frame) will ever meet Chief again, and if he does, will he make friends with the Reclaimer for good this time? Considering he isn’t exactly a monitor anymore, but instead a personality inside an Armiger frame, he won’t have to/be able to take care if Installations anymore, at least I don’t think he will. But these are just thoughts that have pondered in my head.
