The Halo community has been starving for some new info. It’s driving me a little crazy not knowing anything new. Other than some well thought out speculation, we have not seen even a screenshot of what the in game graphics look like.
What if a new trailer isn’t released this February? I wonder if 343i is actually having trouble with the trailer
NOTE: I believe the VGAs are completely rigged.
I feel like if Halo 4 won “Most Anticipated 2012 game” a new trailer was going to be shown. What do you think?
There wont be a trailer this month if its at the show case anyways. Microsoft has put an embargo on the event that ends on March 5th so thats when we would see the trailer.
Also here are a few things to consider.
-Frankie flat out denied the VGA trailer and Super Bowl trailer on NeoGAF but has been completely silent about the Spring Showcase, he wont even talk about it at all.
-When Meto contacted Microsoft for info they gave a “no comment” response which in Microsoft language means “Well looks like you found out”
-Why an embargo till the 5th of March? The 5th is usually when the newest video game magazines go into print so the embargo seems like a “wait till the magazines hit” embargo.
-The showcase is showing off the biggest 360 games. I dont think Ryse or Fable: The Journey are exactly on the biggest list that Microsoft has.
There may not actually be anything before E3 2012. It’s basically an accepted fact that 343i’s going to dump a whole…uh, LOT, of halo 4 info on us then. Trailers, gameplay, some sneak peaks of campaign, likely mostly multiplayer stuff, likely a Beta release date, that sort of stuff. Oh, and ads… lots of them.
343i may not actually release anything until E3. It’s no tso far away that they can’t stall, or at least update matchmaking with a new gametype and class of map to give them some time.
Frankie confirmed we will get Halo 4 info before E3. So we are getting something soon, the newest Bulletin even said we will get new in the not too distant future.

Do you honestly believe they won’t give any info for 5 months? They already said halo 4 info was near by and 5 months isn’t near by.
If there isn’t anything revealed in Feb. I will be the biggest troll to teammates in reach. I will -Yoink- up grifball and infection and the online experience single handed. I will run over people in firefight if received a vehicle on the right map.

Pretty much what this guy said. Right now all signs are pointing right at the Spring Showcase and in all honesty that is a great time to show off Halo 4, get people excited to play that while they play all the new games in March and its the perfect time to build up hype for their E3 showing too.

And it’s already been confirmed that we will get info before E3 anyway.
I mean really, why can’t they at least give use a little snibbit of info to feed on until an actually showcase. The more I think about it, the more it’s eating me up inside. My pacience is wearing very thin. I have faith in them doing a good job, now its about whether they will release something or not!

We only have to wait till March 5th so we don’t have to wait too long at all.

If it is a big surprise then all news outlets will report about it
