What if Jonhson has survived and he is in Halo 4?

Right, you were thinking “He is dead in Halo 3, at the end”, but, in Halo: Combat Evolved he was supposed to be dead in the legendary ending (despite the fact it’s an easter egg). Also if you read First Strike you know he survived to Halo’s destruction.

But, what if he survived to Halo 3?

WRONG! He was actually suppose to live. Bungie wanted him to be in the final cutscene with Chief and Cortana. Right when Chief get on the longsword to ditch Halo Johnson was going to be in their waiting for them, but they ran out of time because they had to ship it and they couldn’t get hi in the final cutscene except for the Easter Egg with the Elite
