Since Steitzer is the voice of Halo and Hale is the voice of Palmer, what would you do if she completely replaced him in everything in the upcoming Halo 6 and future Halo games? For me that would show at most 343 doesnt care for the series, even though they tried replacing him and Jen Taylor. Overall the feel of what 343 are doing behind closed doors boggles me to no end and I wanted to get your guys opinions on the matter if this was to happen.

I wouldnt be buying Halo 6, though its not like I am buying it anyways since 343 messed up so much with all their Halo games. I will get it used.
Halo 5 has three different announcers.
One for weapon callouts, one for warzone and one for normal gamemode announcements. This is also ignoring your Spartans own callouts which raises that to several other people for no good reason. When I heard that 343i couldn’t add elites because of a lack of resources I look at things like this and wonder if they just use money for the sake of it.

Just think about the time it took 343i to program Artemis into the game. Then think about how many times you didn’t use it.

Theres also that revive mechanic that’s completely exclusive to campaign and nothing else. It would have been perfect for fire fight but noooooooooooooooo.

I honestly forgot about this, I used it once in the first mission when you are supposed to.

Yea I dont know why they decided to remove features. Sad.
If I ever hear Hale say “Unfriggenbelievable” I’m going to kill myself.

I would like to just keep Jeff Steitzer, he is a Halo legend. But if Jennifer Hale did the announcer, I’d want her to do her own voice and not be acting as Sarah Palmer. You know, cause Palmer sucks.
I think that the Halo team likes Steitzer as an announcer as well, if his long-term involvement is any indication. Even in Halo 5, they had him do more lines when Assault, Infection, and Grifball were coming out.
Unless Steitzer dies (however gruesome this possibility is, everyone dies someday) or leaves willingly, I think he’s here to stay.
If only his voice was more widely used and less heavily modified…

Most likely rage post on the forums (what else could I do).
Already planning on not preordering or picking it up on release night (something I have done for every Halo title since Halo 2).
Gladly, in fact that might be a reason to play the Halo 6 campaign.
Jeff Steitzer’s voice was one of the major parts that made multiplayer so great. Hearing him call out multi kill medals just pumped you up. If that is taken away it will just even further pull 343s Halos away from what made Halo great.
Now I wouldn’t be terribly surprised if they did replace him. Seems to be the MO of 343 to try and change anything and everything to make it their own, no matter if it is good bad or indifferent. I was disappointed when they used Palmer for Warzone and you can try to say it is for immersion (which went right out of the window once she says “Gruntpocalypse” in WFF) but she is a horrible character and would not be missed by me if she was left out of Halo 6 with out even a mention why.
There is no reason to get rid of Jeff’s voice even if he doesn’t want to return for Halo 6. I would rather not get any new medals and have them reuse what he recorded for any of the older games just to keep multiplayer feeling like it has for over a decade.
