Why would a flyable vehicle with only passenger seats and no pilot controlled weapon be a mythic req?
I mean 343 can easily cut and paste the hornet since they put it in H2A.
I think they are too lazy to create new physics yet alone design a whole new vehicle…
(EDIT: Don’t say it wasn’t in Reach as the Brute Plasma rifle wasn’t either. Technically it existed during the era so…)
(EDIT 2: This update isn’t referring to the game Reach directly either, once again there were no brute plasma rifles in the game yet it’s in the update)
Well it very well could be a hornet and I wouldn’t mind that.
I would rather have the hornet honestly.

So if it is a hornet which may actually be more likely then the pilot might actually be able to defend themselves: however, in the reach campaign there was actually a falcon with a machine gun the pilot could use so it could very well be that falcon as well.
The Hornet was not in Reach. Gameplay-wise, it is no different than the Phaeton, except it has passenger seats. Falcon makes more sense for all these reasons.

why would you say the falcon doesn’t have a pilot controlled weapon? In the champaign you had to fly a falcon (there were actually two to choose from. One with regular guns to passengers, the other had grenade launchers.) only the multiplayer one didn’t have a pilot weapon.
Also why do people keep calling it a “brute” plasma rifle? They are covenant plasma rifles used by different races. The only weapons that were brute only was the gravity hammer, brute shot, and mauler.
With as craptastic as the guns are on the warthog falcons will be sitting ducks in warzone. Unless they make good varients for them or buff the guns.
I really hate hornets. they are overpowered…so it could be it. but i doubt it since the update is about reach

Don’t forget there’s 2 side mounted chainguns that can both be pointed straight ahead. Make those both ONI chainguns and big nasty lazer or gauss on the nose… BAM! worthy of a level 9 req XD

I really wouldn’t mind if it was a Hornet or a Falcon, just some sort of UNSC flying vehicle.
Gameplay wise -> no it wasn’t in Reach
Lore wise -> yes it was on Reach
I wouldn’t mind seeing a hornet as the ONI req though

It would make sense because we’re getting the Brute Plasma Rifle, which wasn’t in Reach, and the Hornet wasn’t in Reach either and that seems to be what 343 is going for here.
