What they do with the story, the art design, no micro-transactions, more focus on Master Chief, game engine shown in what i assume campaign, even co-op (I know its multiplayer, but its in a single player experience, possibly only multiplayer there is) all resembles to a single player game. If our theories are right and Halo turns into an RPG, many RPG games dont mix with general multiplayer.

> I mean, in a console game, every general game has microtransactions for DLC. But the other things you can buy in a multiplayer like Halo or CoD besides DLC are loot boxes. If it were an RPG game, microtransactions have armor and weaponry and cosmetics as well.

> In this game, we are talking about microtransactions multiplayer like Halo/CoD. Meaning the only other thing we can buy besides DLC, are loot boxes. So in this circumstance, loot boxes and microtransactions are the same thing. Because the only microtransaction anyone can get in multiplayer like Halo/CoD games are loot boxes. Which in conclusion, makes microtransactions and loot boxes the same at these standards.
No. The micro transaction is the act of buying loot boxes, cosmetic DLC and other DLC. These are different things, and it’s another topic. As far as this topic goes, 343i stated no loot crates, they said nothing about no micro transactions.

However I don’t see it happening, I used to think it was on the cards, there’s a rumour Cyberpunk might be doing this and some fans including me thought it would be good if Halo did it. But, many buy Halo for the multiplayer, players would log onto Halo Infinite and go straight for multiplayer. I think we’ll get a regular Halo with both campaign and multiplayer.

> I think they would play the campaign. I know a majority of the fans are in it for campaign too. And if there are a lot to do, players would come back.
No, they would not play the campaign. The RPG crowd and the FPS multiplayer crowd are very different imo. There are players that buy Halo for multiplayer, there are players that prefer campaign and some like both. I don’t see 343i taking a huge risk like that. I’m not against a Halo RPG, but I don’t think Halo Infinite will be an RPG. It may be open world ish, but I think it will be a Halo with campaign and multiplayer.
