Would Halo Infinite be more playable if they added a rank progression like in MCC, and had the same season implementation where you complete challenges to obtain “season points” to unlock each item within that season or any of the other seasons?
I’m sure it would take a re-launch of the game update; like No Man’s Sky, but It would definitely improve the state of play its at currently. Being shot through a wall kinda desynchs my enjoyment of the game.
I truly thought the MCC was a blueprint of things to expect for Infinite but instead we got below the bare minimum & the franchise has suffered for it, just having an actual progression system would’ve at the least kept player retention reasonably high
I think at this point, after season 3 the game just needs to go dark and plan a re-launch with a sustainable amount of content & features, but that might not help much considering so much player trust has been lost.
It is way too late. They’re committed to this Infinite that appeals to nobody, and a certain CEO of a certain company just does not listen to the fans so yep its dead. Sad but true.
