How would you feel?
I would be alright with it ether way.
im fine with it either way . but it should be optional in a custom game for it to have sprint and certain game modes should have no sprint. so people who like it have it and people that dont get what they want

I’ve played with it in h4 and reach so I’m pretty much used to it.
still prefer not sprint though…

This doesn’t work if maps are designed for sprint or not.
No sprint, changes map fundamentals too much. Default thruster is likely, and would be badass.
I would be angry/sad. Sprint fails in Halo. Just have fast base movement speed like in H1-H3.

i, for myself, could adapt to it, though i’m everything else than a fan of it -
it just breaks too many aspects - i probably would just get used to it, like i did with Reach & 4.
but there would be helluva lot people who would leave the franchise for good, which would be more than just justified.
I would be very disappointed if sprint returns. If they wanted to do a default thruster pack, I could get behind that, but sprint in Halo adds nothing positive.
Sprint adds absolutely nothing that cannot be accomplished by other means. It would shake my faith in the future simply because it means 343 was more concerned with superficial arguments for sprint rather than the well reasoned arguments against it.
After all the good news we have been getting it would really make me take a step back.
depends on the maps, to accommodate sprint the maps need to be larger. They have shown midship art at gamescon so my guess is H5 will not have sprint but maybe some type of thruster pack. For BTB I think sprint would be ok but they are unlikely to have different base abilities depending on play list so my hunch is sprint will be gone.

As long as there are Elites and Pelicans in H5 I will be fine.
If not I will still get H5 cause its Halo.

If Halo 5 has sprint then it will suffer from the same fate as Halo 4 while everyone plays Halo 1-3 on MCC.
Sprint should only be in the campaign and in customs.
All official mp should not host sprint.
I would really hate to see sprint in halo 5, but seeing as midship is returning which is an extremely small map, that suggests that sprint might not be in there. If sprint is in halo 5 as well as midship, that’s going to really ruing it in my opinion
If Halo 5 has sprint, there’d better be a custom game option to turn it off.
The only reason I am into sprint is because it allows me to catch up to players from behind and assassinate them. Without sprint it is nearly impossible to assassinate someone while they are running away.
I would like sprint. I wouldn’t complain, I wouldn’t care, because I like it. I would enjoy Halo 5.
Even without sprint, I would enjoy Halo 5.
I will now leave this discussion because sprint threads get very nasty, very fast.
I wish people would stop being babies about sprint, the complaining gets annoying. If it’s in, it’s in. If it isn’t in, it isn’t in. Either way, deal with it.

I hate to be that guy but I honestly won’t buy Halo 5. 343 will have had three years now from the launch of Halo 4 to realize that Call of Duty doesn’t not fit into Halo. Sprint is an illusion with a detrimental effect on the flow of gameplay and if 343 can’t get something as simple as removing a flawed mechanic from the game, then who knows what else they butchered. I’ll watch the campaign playthrough on YouTube and I will move back to the MCC and enjoy my Halo’s 1-3.

Without sprint its much harder for them to run away to begin with.

If sprint is in then maps will have to be made larger to accommodate it…and with a map as small as Midship being included, there’s no way sprint would work.
