What if Halo 5 doesnt have a CRS?

I hope that halo 5 will have a proper ranking system to the standard of halo 3.

Whether i wouldn’t buy the game because of that, i don’t know.

For one I would like it to have it very similar to either Halo 2 or Halo 3, reason is very simple. It gave me a reason to try and improve my overall skill and become better and being able to see my ACTUAL skill showed and meant alot to me even if you people out there only call it a number. It shows more than you think.

I hope they have in game competitive skill rank where yo can see your rank other wise its just pointless.

OT: I’m not that competitive, but it means a lot to the competitive community, so yes, I would like to see it.

I’m not one of those people who believe that a Halo game must come with a 1-50 CRS to be worth buying.
For me, everything under MP side of the game is just icing on the cake if it’s there. I buy Halo for the campaign, and the campaign only. Campaign is what got Halo big, it’s what sells Halo each and every game, without the campaign, Halo would not be Halo.

You need to define it’s roots, because when it comes to this topic, what you mean is go back to Halo CE’s days, and do away with ranking. Halo’s roots didn’t have competitive ranking, it didn’t have any kind of competitive based gameplay.

Meh, I wouldn’t care too much. As long as the game would be fun.

Everybody played CE PC online without ranks. Without ranks, I’m more relaxed and can just enjoy the game and take strange risks such as trying to snapshot people in front of me with a Sniper even if I have an Energy Sword. I’m all for the laughs and fun, and to develop playing skill by approaching the game in many different ways (even if it’s going to negatively impact my stats).

I’ll play it either way. sens eI never played for rank.
