I for one will ditch halo if the launch is anywhere near as bad as mcc.
What about the rest of you?

Third strike, as far as I’m concerned. I’d cut my losses and sell my xbone while it’s still worth something and only be out half the money I wasted on Halo.
¯_(ツ)_/¯ Halo isn’t my only game in my collection. If it has a bad launch, it has a bad launch. But the chances of a repeat of that kind are so slim.
If this ever does happen, which it shouldn’t I’ll be done with 343i and just play other games.
It won’t. 343 learned their mistakes with MCC, that’s why they had a beta. Halo 5 will not fail.
It won’t. Stop making these threads.

It could.
Halo MCC was essentially four cross-generational games shipped together on one disc which all shared the same matchmaking system. It was among the first of its kind, and it didn’t even have a beta. Halo 5 is a new game produced for the Xbox One and it did possess a beta. If Halo 5 does have complications, it won’t be anywhere near as bad as the MCC’s were.
I highly doubt it will have a bad launch, if it did then I quiet halo and move on to other games. Unless they fix it really quickly.
I have faith it won’t due to them actually having a beta, but in the off chance that it is as bad, I’ll just wait til it’s fixed and play again or just go play campaign or mess around in Forge.
Laugh at 343. Hell, I am already laughing at them for some of they’re divisions with halo 5.

No it won’t
I don’t think it will be a bad launch, but that mcc launch still gives me nightmares.

But it could
I would still buy Halo for the campaign…
But I’d be pissed & abandoned the Multiplayer(for Halo5), like I did MCC.

wont happen made by different team from MCC not to mention it was developed by 343 only and wasn’t outsourced to other developers like MCC was and it had a beta so if any issues likely would be servers crashing due to everybody getting on matchmaking at once

Plus Microsoft said they’d never release any Halo game without first having a bets. I think they’re taking steps to ensure future games are really smooth.

you know, for what it is. The Idea of MCC was revolutionary. The seamless transitions between 5 games. Who has ever done that before
MCC and Halo 5 are completely different. MCC was 4 games made for 2 consoles by 2 separate developers stitched together by Certain affinity and Saber.
