What if Cortana took Blue Team with her

What if Fire Team Osiris failed to rescue Blue Team from Cortana, which led to Cortana taking them with her. I think it would set better plot for Halo 6. Possibly more emphasis and weight of story on Blue Team with their character development. Halo 6’s beginning would fluidly start by Blue Team manages to escape from Cortana and Warden Eternal. How could they get out of the Cryptum by themselves? 343 could put another Forerunner monitor/A.I. who disagrees with Cortana and Warden’s plan and helping Blue Team to disturb their plan. In my opinion, this is how Halo 5 should have ended for fluid start of Halo 6. There are people going to say what if Arbiter? We all thought Arbiter was going to play big role in Halo. On the actual thing, Arbiter wasn’t that important to the story. Same thing could happen with Halo 6.

I thought the idea was they would be in some form of suspended animation until she released them in what was it, a few thousand years? If Blue team was captured, H6 could start off with a rescue mission I suppose. Or are you implying that they pretend to go along with her plans in order to act as double agents?

Honestly I feel like if Osiris hadn’t rescued them, Cortana just planned to kill the others eventually so she could have John all to herself.

But you know… she’s not evil or anything.

No, like I suspect that there are more Forerunner A.I.s who oppose Warden like Exuberant Witness. What I meant by Blue Team escaping, anti Warden monitors attempted to take out Blue Team out of Cryptum, and we play as Master Chief on that segment, we could see friendly Sentinels return or some of Promethean becoming ally.

Cortana is antagonist from humanity’s perspective, so game will depict her as evil and I think Halo 5 already made Cortana a bad guy.

I would have preferred if Blue Team had been taken, if that were the case, Halo 5 would have meant something. Though, in the end, you are practically in the same place you were in the beginning, and you are much more of a bystander then someone actually contributing to the story. The events of Halo 5 would have occurred with or without Master Chief, so if he was taken at the end, there would have been some slight progression. But instead, all Halo 5 gave us was Master Chief is evil! Nvm… Lets kill Cortana!

I really still woudn’t of cared.

343 should have gave us last mission as escaping Genesis and Guardians by Warthog run and Pelican flight! How awesome that would have been.

And I agree completely.

343’s writers apparently don’t, though, cause even after she murdered millions in activating the Guardians they’re still trying to tell us in interviews about the game that’s not evil, she’s just misunderstood and “doing something we don’t agree with.” You know, kinda like -Yoink!-.

Halsey, though, who kidnapped 75 children but did not kill millions… she’s a monster though, no question. eye roll

You can thank Karen Traviss for the Halsey hate
