What If Bungie Still Made Halo?

Since I know how lots of people feel that Halo went downhill after Bungie stopped making Halo and 343i took over, what do you think halo would be like now if Bungie was still in charge and making the halos like 4 and 5? Do you think they wouldn’t be doing some of the things (or “mistakes”) 343i has done already now? The different things that have been -Yoink!- off people. Even though some of the members in bungie moved to 343i to continue the Halo franchise I want to know what you guys think or have to say in all seriousness.

Please refer to Destiny.

That’s difficult to answer, because many people believe that the Bungie we have today is much different than the Bungie that made the original Halo trilogy.

Bungie left cuz they didn’t want to make halo games anymore. If they were to come back what inspiration will they have to try their best making halo again when they lost interest in it?

FYI, halo started going downhill with bungie before 343 got the keys. Both could be blamed, it’s not all on 343.

I mean I know that they created Destiny but it’s like a different thing to Halo. There really doesn’t seem to be much similarities to halo or at least any that I’ve noticed but I just want to know what you guys think Halo would be like b/c I kind of doubt it be like Destiny. Idk lol that’s what I think.

Like destiny lol

If Bungie still made Halo

  • The armour would have been decent - More classical weaponry - There would have been less books published - Spartan Assault and Strike would probably never have been made - Halo 4 and 5 would have a boring chief with no personality - Music would still have been composed by Marty and feel more classical - Anniversary editions might not have happened but we will never know - We would have good forge worlds - Halos overall design would be consistent - Halos long term story might have suffered due to Bungies dislike of the EU - Halo Wars 2 might not have happened - If the MCC was made it would probably still be bad - Multiplayer would probably have armour ability’s in it - Live action movies might not have happened - Story might have declined due to lack of ideas

This is a heavily loaded question. Ultimately though, it’s also a moot one as Bungie wanted to move in a different direction (Destiny) and away from Halo.

Trying to compare/contrast the two companies like this is going to lead nowhere constructive. Both companies have their strengths and weaknesses when it comes to the Halo Universe. Let’s leave it at that.
