I Dont really see Much of a difference. Maybe He’ll Just Tell Locke To Take Over And Kill Himself When
Locke Goes Up To Master Chief And Broke His Visor. And He got away because Master Chief Armor Locked him with his own Lock.

I meant The Killing Yourself Part as a Joke.
Main thing is that it wouldn’t make sense. Since Alpha-Nine was dissolved, Buck doesn’t want to be any kind of team leader anymore.
Read the books mate, he feels guilty over what happened to his ODST squad and what happened when they all moved into the spartan branch. He was offered the command position of a team but said he’s not ready yet. SO he was put into Osiris squad temporarily
People would be happier if that were the case, because the community really likes Buck. Personally, it really wouldn’t change things much for me. I am not as drawn to the character like the rest of the community.
Someone competent leading a military strike force? Nah. Never gonna happen.
As soon as I saw the title, I thought… Hell yes! A proper squad leader. He should’ve had more enquisitive traits and asker more questions in Halo 5 though, and Locke must be socially unstable because he can’t even look at someone who’s got the slightest curiosity (aka Buck actually dies ask an important question and Locke silently says -Yoink- you Buck")
They will bring in new people for Halo 6…but i’m sure Buck will be around as the fans love him (And Nathan Fillion!)
