What if bots are better than quitting players?

So if bots were created to replace a quitting player what difficulty level will the bot be?Cause if the skills of the bots are better than the quitting players that could be a disadvantage for the other team.

I’d guess that it would check the skill level of the other team, and substitute the appropriate bot level of skill.
Dunno if they’d be good enough to help you take on a full btb or slayer party, but I guess better than nothing?

Why would you want to go against a “bot player” less skillful than a Spartan Bot in PvP?

Because you can see matches with 1 high skilled player having over 30 kills in a slayer and still lose a match or it is very close at the end.And that is the great thing about Halo that even if there is 1 extra player the other team still has a chance to win.

Okay? So you want a handicap because the player on the other team left? Like come on lol. Unless the bots have a dramatic improvement then you will be fine.

I get where you’re coming from, but I’ll still take it over just dealing with a game where half my team quit.

You would say that based on the fact that the bots didn’t win a single match during the flight (expect where players deliberately threw to see what happened) this is not very worrisome.
I was lucky to be able to share the flighting experience with a friend who I usually play halo with. He’s quite a terrible player but even he could hold his own to the Spartan bots.

Ok i didn’t participate in flight so i don’t know how it is to play the bots, but i heard there will be different difficulty settings for bots.So im curious on what difficulty will the replacement bots in PvP be?

Trust me, some of these bots were better than some players in MM lol.

I don’t see it happening very often as the bots were steam rolled nearly all the time in the last flight. Bots are just a better than nothing kind of thing, I’d go as far to say however they might even be detrimental and die so much more often too because your average player will still beat the harder sets.

Hmmm, good point. On modes like slayer bots could make the situation even worse.

The bots are good but not that good. It’s unlikely they’ll be significantly better than a leaving player, unless it was some betrayer or deranker.

3 players quit, leaving you and 3 bots against a 4 real player team… And y’all win!!! Ooof, not going to lie, I’d be embarrassed if I was on the losing team.

They should have stats for bots, like for people:k/d,wins/losses…So that we know who is the best bot, maybe even make him a tribute on YouTube with a "Best off"compilation one day.

then the system works

You are missing the point…eventually the system will benefit you when you teammates leave you by yourself…As a matter of fact I’d rather play a team that had its players quit because they were trash and replaced by competitive Spartan level bots…than to play an easy game. IF you want an easy game go play Roblocks…this is Halo…it is meant to be competitive.

I think it’s a great idea. Someone quits (may they roast in Hell) and a bot steps in.

The bots were pretty cool in the Flight… and they will get better. And they should function well in a mixed team (humans and bots).

If it’s early enough in the game and the scores are tied you could still try and replace that bot with a human join in progress.

At the very least they should stop the cascade of quits that happen if your team is suddenly 1 or 2 players short.
