While I respect and thank 343 in there work so far, I understand many of you do not feel so similarly. So wouldn’t it be great if 343 joined with Bungie? It would certainly help with Halo 6 and perhaps further Halo titles. This just a dream of mine: I want Halo 6 to be the best in the series and have the exciting and memorable element to it like Halo 3 had. I mainly say this because it seems a lot of people are unhappy with the works of Halos MCC and 5, so why not have the old crew give them a hand and give us a kick### Halo series again!
Bungie doesn’t have any rights to the series any more, Microsoft owns it ALL. Nothing’s going to change that now. I’m sure the story for 6 has been solidified for years at this point.

Yeah, I figured. Maybe then… if Bungie joined with 343 Industries? Either way, like I said, it was just a dream : (
Can always go back in throw in the original three. That’s what I do when I get down.
It wouldn’t be as good as you think. Aside from the fact that it is one of the least likely business partnerships to ever occur, today’s Bungie is much different than the Bungie you knew from Halo Reach and earlier. They are as nontransparent and pro-profit as most other game developers these days.
Also, they wouldn’t join with 343i because 343i is Microsoft. The whole point of 343i’s creation was that Bungie wanted to split from Microsoft and become an independent developer.

They even wrote a declaration of independance from Microsoft, signed it and framed it. It is pretty serious for them.
Even if that was possible, I wouldn’t want it. I don’t want Halo being like Destiny where I have to pay 1 million dollars to keep getting tiny bits of DLC in order to play with my friends. It sucks when you have to tell all your friends you can’t keep up with them in games because all your money goes to bills. That is why I love Halo 5. All the DLC has been free and I have been able to play this game with my friends without forking out any extra money for over a year now.
If 343 teamed up with Bungie they’d announce a new multiplayer online only campaign, then misslead you into thinking it’s great and by the time you realize there is only 5 missions it’s too late because you already own the limited edition of the game.
And then they would sell off the remaining levels of the Campaign as 2 individual $30 DLC and an $80 “expansion” before selling it all packaged neatly together at the price of a normal game and making you realize that you would’ve saved $200 if you’d just waited a year.
Im sorry, I was just recounting why I don’t trust Bungie with a single ounce of my heart anymore. Cause the above is the plot of Destiny. The way I see it, 343 just have microtransactions, if we were to mix them in with the sorts like Bungie it would be the literal definition of nerdy hell.
