I dunno, I’m still sort of annoyed Star Wars Battlefront by DICE is on the Frostbite 3 Engine (also I don’t want to see lens flares all over the place)

Looks quite similar to Halo 3, I like it.
To be honest, I think that is Halo 3 (with a frostbite engine). Just given the art style that it has, it looks far closer to 3 than 4.
That said, it looks quite nice.
I’d be all over it if Halo had Frostbite 3. That engine just looks amazing, the destruction and everything added to Halo would be something out of this world if it was done correctly.
I think a Halo game built in the way BF was with Frostbite would be excellent, having some destructible buildings and walls would be good.

That’s cryengine not frostbite.

That’s actually Cry Engine 3. I’m personally not really a fan of Frostbite. Every game I’ve seen made on it (inclueing the upcoming Need For Speed and Plants vs Zombies game) look incredibly bland, like some one had put a Battlefield skin on them. That’d look absolutelu awful for Halo. Besides, the footage I’ve seen from the engine doesn’t impress me that much. I’d rather have Halo stay with engines crafted just for Halo.
That picture is derived from CryEngine 3, created by a Crytek employee in his spare time.
And Frostbite 3 is EA’s proprietary engine. Never gonna happen.
TBH I think the graphics in the next Halo game will blow Frostbite 3 out of the water. Halo is Microsoft’s main cash cow and you can be damn sure they will unload tons of money to make Halo (5?) look amazingly awesome.
My mistake, anyways I like the look of it. I would not like frostbite look for Halo either. It just isn’t a halo look to me when I see Battlefield.

Actually, that was supposed to be a concept of Halo running on Cryengine 3. Not Frostbite.
EDIT: Someone beat me to it.
I think 343 will make Halo Xbox One look as good as they can, Frostbite 3 and Cryengine 3 are really only at their peak on well constructed PCs anyway

Yea agreed! When I saw that Battlefield 4 trailer where that guy made the skyscraper collapse I was stunned lol.
It would look terrible
Halo 4 already has great graphics.
Halo 5 will be visually stunning.
