I could see Jul becoming Halsey’s pet in some form. It’s just the fact that Halsey shows absolutely no fear in his presence, and that both of them even regard each other as equals.
Jul 'Mdama is probably the best villain in the franchise, he is definitely a step up from the “hates humans just to hate humans” Didact that was portrayed in Halo 4.
Seems a bit farfetched, but who knows, 343i has alot they can bring to the table.

jul is probably my favorite alien character in Halo they have developt him pretty good.

Humans have the capacity to improve Covenant tech tenfold. It’d be a really powerful combination.

I personally can’t see it happening, but it would be an interesting dynamic if Jul’s forces accepted the Insurrectionists into their ranks.

The didact didnt hate humans just to have something to hate.
The ancient humans cleanced any world that had flood infestation. This included forerunner worlds.
The lord of admrals cleansed the planets killing all life on it including forerunners. Lord of admirals never warned the forerunners on the planets he cleanced.
The didact hates them for killing trillions of forerunner childern and people.
This is just one side to the didacts rage against humand.

I was speaking of the way the Ur-Didact was portrayed in Halo 4, not in the books.
In the books, he had a resentment to humankind because his sons and daughters were slaughtered in the Human-Forerunner war and because the Primordial drove him insane.
But for the majority of gamers, who never read the books, The Didact seemed like a one-dimensional stereotypical villain that “hated humans just to hate humans”
Jul and Halsey make a new Covenant?

I certainly think Jul is an interesting character, having read Glasslands. That having been said, it would be cool to see him and Halsey make some sort of more-informed and more-dangerous alliance similar to the Covenant, with maybe a bit of new tech with Halsey’s help, and a few human allies like the rebel front- Though I’m pretty sure Jul would be opposed to having humans in the ranks, however helpful they are. Either way, I’m excited to see where they go with this.
