What I would really like to know...

Xbox: 15 hours of custom games

PC: 35 hours of custom games

35+15=50. Simple arithmetic, right? What I’m asking is this: will the added times give me the Timmy helmet? I am growing increasingly desperate to know the answer, since I am running out of time. I really would prefer it if I didn’t have to play another 15 hours of custom games, so can someone please give me an honest reply? Thank you for your time.

I don’t think it works like that.

It seems like it might work, but I’m doubtful. Probably better just to play the hours on Xbox, just to be safe

I don’t see all the fuss about the Helmet it looks awful to me. I guess if your a completionist.

Well, when they announced how to unlock the helmet, they mentioned having fun with the custom game browser in Halo 5: Guardians and Halo 5: Forge, so it’s safe to assume it works on pc as well. I’m still waiting for an answer straight from the top.(343)

You have to play 50 hours on a console. The PC times are probably worth nothing.

Not sure if the PC version is added onto the time played. If it is then either way you will have to wait for the weekly sweep that goes around for whether the timmy helmet is unlockable.

There was another post, that stated console only. I could not find it, but you could search for it.

I think it’s not so much because it looks good but more because it’s amusing. There’s something delightfully surreal about being a power armoured super soldier with a whale stuck on his head. That’s my take on it anyway.

I believe it has to be on one console. Sorry

Can someone please summon Ske7ch or some other 343 employee so I can get the true answer? I don’t really know how.

You could simply message him in a private message on Waypoint. Replies may take a while, though.

Try tweeting him.

The task of summoning a 343 Employee is a dangerous ritual where many things can go wrong. Lesser minds have been destroyed attempting such a feat, their wills broken and left as a shadow of their former selves.

Though there’s always the much safer and less costly route of simply asking one of them on their Twitter or something like Chimera30 suggested rather than toying with mystical forces beyond our comprehension.

I’d recommend sending Ske7ch or Unyshek a personal message to find out the real answer.

Fair enough.

That’s what I’m afraid of. I assume all the 343 employees get hundreds of messages per day, and they’ll never get to my question. I don’t use Twitter, but I assume the situation there is the same.

They’re out at PAX this weekend. Might bump into them if you’re there

Alright, I sent Ske7ch a message asking about it. Wish me luck, everybody…
