What I Would Do If I Worked at 343i's

Halo 4 is a decent game , I like it . I do however think it lacks thing’s that have been present in past Halo games , Also I think 343i’s have lacked doing major updates early aswell as providing enough new content since it’s release.

So I complied a list of What I would now if I worked at 343i’s :

CSR - In Game , Not only waypoint
Add Some UNSC Air Vehicle’s with The TU on BTB Maps , Bring Hawk and/or falcon back
Bring loved game modes back into a Team Objective Playlist featuring Assault, More CTF Variant’s , VIP , Headhunter , KoTH , Invasion Etc.
Also Bring a Rumble Pit playlist in With modes like Race, Football etc.
Include some more weapon skins in TU aswell
Implement Alot More Forge Maps into Smaller Game Modes like Infinity Slayer
Remove PP’s and Plasma Grenades from BTB Loadout’s

If you worked at waypoint you would probably not be able to do any of those things individually as making a game is a team effort that requires the cooperation and input of designers, programmers, artists, etc in order to add those features.

It also costs thousands of dollars each time you update a game on the xbox as it has to go through certification.

In all if you did work at 343i, you would not be the one making the decisions nor the one who has the final say in adding or changing anything.

I agree with you but anyone with a higher IQ than Brittaney spears would do that so just cause alot of people vote yes doesnt mean you should actually work at 343

the only thing i would add is the the UNSC air vehicles

I would be working in the art department focusing on Promethean Vehicles and enemy designs for Halo5 while strongly trying to get on the Spartan Ops or any Hordemode development team to help better the experience.

You got quite awesome ideas but i would Revome the DMR also remove AA well not remove but replace with Halo 3’s equipments and make pre set classes to all gametypes and make Bolt shot a power weapon instead a standart weapon

I agree with everything except having CSR in-game. As long as it matches people up based on skill, it’s fine just on Waypoint. Why does one number next to your name matter so much anyways?

I’d be working on:

  1. campaign scaling, that is, level changes for each difficulty + enemy numbers, aggression, and intelligence increased for Co-op
  2. campaign easter eggs
  3. various campaign level changes

Dawn:
-on Heroic and higher, waking up in the cryotube and exiting is depicted in a cutscene
-on Heroic and higher, pulling the door open won’t work so you have to punch it. Climbing QTE converted to cutscene
-on Legendary, no Elite ambushes you at the top of the elevator. That sword Elite is prowling around that area. If the sword Elite is killed after certain requirements are met (a la Megg), he’ll drop an infinite ammo sword

Requiem:
-defeating the 8 sniper Elites spawns a Pelican that drops off marines who follow you into the Forerunner structure. You also get the weapon crates
-you can bring vehicles into the structure without them deloading
-vehicles do not deload after the cutscene
-on lower difficulties, Sentinels in the Forerunner structure stick around to help you fight Covies
-your weapons carry over to Forerunner

Forerunner:
-the 5 Battlewagons easter egg becomes the 5 unarmed Battlewagons easter egg. They fight differently from other Battlewagons, making no use of guns or grenades and having new melee animations. They charge and leap more often. They can knock you out of the Ghost. Defeating them gives you 4 Incineration Cannons with ammo beyond their capacity

Infinity:
-you have to earn the tank and you start off with the Hog
-Spartans follow you into the Mantis room instead of deloading
-on Solo, instead of 4 Mongooses, there’s 1 Mongoose and 1 Gauss Hog
-your weapons carry over to Reclaimer

Reclaimer:
-let players drive and control the Mammoth, relieving the game of memory/scripting consumption so it can implement greater things
-Lasky does not deload
-spawn new marines/Spartans at certain points since the Mammoth is all but abandoned if you lose them
-get rid of the enemy vehicle waves. Instead, spawn a bunch of Covies from the Lich, culminating with 2 Hunters
-get rid of that forced vehicle exit + explosion if you manage to bring a vehicle past the first few death rivers. Also, stop the vehicles (excluding Wraith) from deloading at the loading point
-replace Sentinels in the Forerunner structure with combative Sentinels. Betraying enough of them triggers an easter egg to spawn

Shutdown:
-when doing the marine betraying easter egg, the real Johnson shows up and snipes the imposter with his trademark sniper rifle and delivers a speech before attacking you
-instead of enemy Phantoms, you get to fight a multitude of enemy Banshees assisted by a single Phantom. The towers are heavily guarded by Shades and AA Wraiths

If we rally everyone together we can get them to bascially put a sort of classic version into every playtype into big team and infinity its going to take a lot of people though.

I reckon It’s possible

Translation - I want to continue playing a hybrid Halo 2/3 and I don’t care what changes you make in future installments.

I’m glad that you don’t work for 343i. What a relief!!!

Its a hell of alot better than a Cod/Halo hybrid, which we have now.

Good ideas. But tell me, how long do you think each one of these will take to implement? Unless you were to go back to the very beginning of brainstorming and deciding what went into the game and what didn’t, you still would probably be releasing things at the same speed as 343i is doing now. 343i cant just drop daily tasks and projects that are already planned out and in the making because the forums have a new outcry. It’s not like they have a magic wand that the wave to change the coding and functionality and basic game play of the entire game. These things take time.

Also how is a DLC and a Weekly series not enough new content for a game that is barely 3 months old??

Yeah you couldn’t do all that without a ton of testing/approval. It’s a nice thought at least

OP , what are you. 12?

Its not that simple to make a video game. It requires alot more than just one person to that kind of stuff. Unless you have multiple years to do it.
