What I would change in Multiplayer

These are just some of my thoughts towards certain weapon changes that should happen when it comes to multiplayer, let me know what you think and your opinions

Pulse Carbine - The damage it does is pretty good, however it doesn’t hold up very well in multiplayer against real people as the fire speed of each plasma is very slow and at medium range it looses a LOT of maneuverability while tracking. Increasing the speed by 10-20% should help alleviate this concern and you will see people using it more. When it comes to fighting bots it’s nasty, and can get some seriously good kills but other than that it isn’t much to write home about for a “Power Weapon”

BR75 - Amazingly it hold up to how it used to be in previous games amidst it shooting a tad bit faster.

VK78 Commando - The damage is great, however it is definitely not suited for “long range” unless you shoot one bullet at a time. The recoil needs to be adjusted slightly for it to not drift as much upwards as it does in big environments.

BULLDOG - For it being a shotgun it doesn’t seem to really do a lot of damage in close quarters. The damage output needs to be increased, it should be fairly lethal however it doesn’t feel as such when 3-5 feet away, an adjustment of damage is sorely needed here.

HEATWAVE - It lacks damage when all bolts hit the target, it should most definitely be a 2 hit kill when all 6 hardlight projectiles hit the target.

NEEDLER - The needler has been a staple for a long time being a close range devastator and still getting some damage done during mid range, however in this beta build it seems like the crystal shards fly… well really slow and need to be sped up.

Other notes:
Invisibility/Overshield - These work as intended except for two things, 1 the overshield doesn’t give you the big boost it used to and the white glow is… well quite annoying and overpowers the enemy/friendly marker, the faint green glow which was more subtle should be taken in here and used as it was previously, 2 the activation animation is SOOO DAMMNNN SLOOOWWWW, if you can be killed while you activate it there is no point in even trying to get it, the animation should be sped up a good 20-30% to give a good fighting chance for each.

Repulsor - While using it does allow for plasma weapon/grenade/rocket/spartan push back it doesn’t seem to cause any damage to the spartans in multiplayer. I do think that it would be ideal for something that pushes you back with such force that it deals damage. Maybe it did and I didn’t notice it but I did use it on an enemy whose shield was gone and it didn’t do anything, at that point is useless against other players in this aspect, if this was intended good, if not… well it might be a good idea to take a look at it.

After Battle Challenges Screen Bug - A few times after a match the challenge progression page that appears becomes permanently stuck. I could access other menu functionalities and even start a new match but it still made it quite annoying to have to look through an almost grayed out screen and guess where the cursor was located at.

Cross-Platform Choice - While I enjoy playing against PC players from time to time… they also can be quite “sweaty” with a mouse and keyboard! This issue was quite predominant during multiplayer and an option to enable/disable should be used to decide how much effort you want to put into a match. This will be ideal to have whenever ranked matches appear in December when the game comes out.

Last but not least RADAR - Maybe I am just imagining things but people are still not showing up when moving on the radar and that seems like an issue for what the new radar was supposed to do, spartans should only be invisible when crouching and when walking really slow but this doesn’t seem to be the case. Unless the spartan is running or shooting, the radar doesn’t display them.

Anyways these are my thoughts on some of the items I have noticed that I think require a bit of tweaking.
