What I want for halo infinite, List

With halo infinite getting closer I decided to make a list of things I would like in the game , here it is

  • since micro transactions are confirmed for halo infinite I want them to be pure cosmetic only . - I would like to see Frequent updates to add new modes , community challenges and way more . - All guns to return not scraped - Brand new maps as well as old ones - a campaign that doesn’t centre around team Osiris but includes them as side characters - new Vehicles and Support Vehicles that heal . - Forge at launchAnd of course i want the features we all love in halo .

For me?
1: the Flood (mwahahah)
1.2:a proper Flood infection multiplayer gametype(MWAHAHAHH)
2:guns,vehicles,and design from both Halo 3 and Reach
3:better armot design

for me:

ARENA

  1. Abilities off
  2. Return of the classic H2 Battle Rifle as primary weapon in Arena. (It could be good H2A version also).
  3. Buff of many “easy” weapons as needler, plasma rifle, boltshot, suppressor, storm rifle, etc…
  4. Many old map remakes (forged) from HCE and H2.

2nd AREA

  1. Different characters (Masterchief, Elite, Forerunner etc).
  2. Spartan and Super Abilities
  3. Full customizable weapons (rateo, impact, range etc) and armors (strengh, agility, recovery)
  4. Game economy and career progression

I’d like to see the campaign come back the way it was in Halo CE in terms of weapons, psychics, AI and character models. I want to be all about MC. I don’t want to play as anyone other than MC.
Also maybe they could reboot the game and we could have the original sane Cortana back
The story line in 4 and 5 got kind of crazy…

Better forge controls

Campaign:

  • Less linearity. - More interesting AI interaction (gunplay, feedback animations, map / sandbox interaction, etc.) - Some open-ended levels with optional methods of objective completion (Halo, Silent Cartographer, etc.) - More sandbox oriented setpieces (i.e. Two Scarabs section from H3) and less elaborate action cutscenes. - Blue Team and Arbiter present in narrative relevant scenes, included like Arbiter in Halo 3, playable in co-op but without the squad system or revive mechanic. - A story with more breathing room, time for motivations to be established and characters to be developed, hopefully with better writing in general.Matchmaking:

  • Playable Elites. - Return of Ranked / Social MP structure. - Join in-progress for games before the half-time mark. - Return the Veto system. - Strict rank and party matching, even in social (can be eased off if population lowers significantly). - Dynamic map interactables to give each some personality. - Few map remakes, ideally only one or two. - Sandbox based Equipment, reworked with activation telegraphs and models visible on the player carrying them. - Return of absent modes like Juggernaut, Stockpile, Headhunter, Invasion, etc. - Invasion expanded with larger player count, more efficient squad spawning, varied objectives like VIP, Payload, etc.Tertiary Mode:

  • Replace Warzone with Firefight. - Firefight maps that progressively open up as you gain currency for killing enemies. - Currency tied to ammunition, power weapons, map interactables, gates to other areas of the map, AI backup and custom Pelican / Phantom drops that provide a meta-game beyond just survival. - Friendly AI count increase in accordance with larger maps. - ‘Classic Firefight’ option available for survival with skull modifiers on locked ‘zones’ of each map. - Flood variant or ‘Terminus Firefight’. - Potentially a revive mechanic for co-op. - 4v4 Firefight Vs. with matchmaking and a Generator Defence game type.Custom Games, Forge, Theatre and Community:

  • Browser with rating system. - ‘343 Favourites’ with highlighted browser pages for top maps, gametypes, etc. - Options for features like custom loadouts (not present in Matchmaking). - ‘Simple’ or ‘Legacy’ Forge controls in addition to the precise controls from Halo 5. - AI usable in Forge. - Better Forge list organisation, skins / colours changeable in object traits. - Improved Theatre mode. With Campaign and Firefight functionality. - Weapon lowering available in online modes.Customisation and General:

  • Classic gameplay, personally I’d prefer closer to Halo 2 than 3. - Possible return of Dual Wielding if weapons were balanced according to utility (quick-draw, stopping power, melee lunge distance, etc.) rather than TTK. - Armor sets unlocked via progression, with variants and attachments unlocked via challenges. - Modular customisation for Elites with similar rank / challenge based unlocks. - Custom Emblems, ideally an emblem creator with a report function but even the old system would be preferable to 5’s. - Weapon / Armor Skins, Effects, etc. available as bought-as-seen micro-transactions, since they’re likely to be present. - Less weapon stat-variants, more unique weapons like the Plasma Launcher. - Return of the Falcon, Hornet to replace the Wasp, Cyclops to replace the Mantis. - And a Steam release, ideally in parity with console and crossplay featured in all co-op modes with a toggle for social and custom games.All present and polished at launch, of course.

Perhaps the original music, like from Halo 3. Though the reveal trailer kinda siad that, but you never know…

Skins and customization :
The return of old armor sets from Reach & 3
The ability to make your infected version for infection look as scary as you want, like how many of those bone claw things on the arms, the way you walk/run around [like lunging, limping, stumbling around], the way your armor looks on it [still sorta clean to decrepit], scary unlockable noises, shattered visors to show disturbing faces that rank from newly infected to pure bone. Same with elites if they’re playable too

I like overall the list but a couple of notes I would like to make are:

  • I totally agree, cosmetic only MT’s - Frequent updates so long as the game launches complete, all the game modes we expect are there and enough content to keep people busy for a while. When new modes are added, it should be actual new modes that we’ve never seen before in a Halo game. - I can do with a few less promethian weapons, especially the rediculous homing ones. They added very little to the overall sandbox because they were basically reskinned human weapons. - I think that goes without saying. Every game has new MP maps and brings back famous old maps. - Osiris could even be as far removed from the story as a single mention in my mind as to what they are doing. It would be fun to play as Osiris in a side campaign kind of like Spartan Ops where you’re doing objectives that were important to the story but we didn’t see happen in the actual campaign. - could be an interesting new mechanic to have repair vehicles. - of course Forge at launch!
