what i want badddddd for halo 4

a main weapon that takes skill and can take 2 guys at once if you are skilled (halo 1 pistol) or just a higher amount of things you can pull off individualy. i hate in reach how forced it feels on small maps to team shot

fast movement speed

and AR that feels fun. reach is ok but play halo 3 and man that AR is terrible. it just feels so awful and sounds awful. make the screen shake give lots of bullets so its possible to kill 2 guys with one clip without melee or grenades

if theres armor abilities it would be weapon placement. this is HALOOOO classic style first person shooter. why cant we have a classic game? we already got millions of games with perks that you spawn with

and no bloom on precision weapons. inb4 derp derp tells me its always been in halo but not really

and an epic -Yoink- campaign!!

I hope Halo 4 is as good as Halo 2. Halo 2 = epic campaign, best multiplayer game of its time. required skill to snipe, and everything was balanced (except the dual wielding, if they fixed up dual wielding in halo 4 it would be sooo good)

I personally just want more stuff in the armory. MJOLNIR Mk IV, SPI, novel SPARTAN Firefight voices; stuff like that.

I’ve never been a huge fan of the dual wielding, but if they can balance it and make it more necessary, rather than just grabbing a BR or DMR, then I’ll welcome it back. We definitely need more stuff in the Armory… and we shouldn’t have to work so much to customize our armor. I want more options to make my Spartan my own, and not always have it reflect my rank or amount of cR.

They definitely have to beef up Campaign storyline. Halo CE had a fantastic plot full of suspense. Once they gave the Covenant the English language, the suspense dropped and the thrill of the story began lacking. I want more surprising twists that make my jaw drop, and I want Master Chief to be more of a central character like he was in CE. Then they added Arbiter and gave Johnson a major role, etc. I want to exclusively cheer for and be on the edge of my seat for the Chief.

I agree the armor abilities are a little much in the loadouts. It’s far too much like classes in other games. If anything, make it what weapons you start with, and tone it down with the abilities.

Also, I’ve heard they had addressed it since Halo 2 and 3, but I feel the field of view might still be very narrow compared to Halo CE. The wider field of view is what in part made Halo CE’s environments look so vast compared to the later games.

They also REALLY have to bring back Halo 2’s clan system. It was so intuitive and innovative. I don’t understand why they did away with that. It makes absolutely no sense to me.

Lastly, I want to emphasize that part of what has made Halo such a great franchise of games was that they focused on the idea that less is more.
