What I think we need to see

Dear 343 Industries

I have been a long time fan of Halo, and it has grown to become dear to me. Halo is one of my all time favourite series. I still go back and replay the old campaigns just to remember the good old days. I want Halo 5 to be the best it can be, so i have decided to send you a few ideas I think could make Halo 5 the game everyone wants.

  1. Sgt. Johnson- Everyone loves Sgt. Johnson. Like seriously if you love halo you love him. Now I know he has already died twice and the second time was a good sendoff. But he came back once, and I think he could come back again from a wimpy sentinel laser shot to the chest. For all we know it could have been set to stun or knockout :stuck_out_tongue: Look all I’m saying is I think it would be nice to bring him back in someway, even if its like a reference or a flashback. I would like to see him. And I think chief would like to see him too. Sgt. Johnson was chiefs only real human friend, and if you want to make chief more of a character with feelings maybe Johnson can be used to touch on that topic a bit.

  2. Develop chief but don’t go to far- Chief is a human so obviously he has feelings, but he is also a hardened killing machine. Im going to suggest that you show off that side in his feelings, he lost everything, his only friends are dead, he’s getting older (Mind you he was in cryosleep much of that time) and there are new spartans who could challenge his roll. Show his sadness and anger off a bit, but maybe give him somethings to be happy about. Like maybe an old friends coming back (Sgt. Johnsonnnn and Arbiter) and maybe you could get him some new armour or something or like an anti aging serum :stuck_out_tongue:

  3. DONT KILL OFF CHIEF- Ive been looking into some theorie. Lots of them say you might kill off chief, LOTS. WHat ever you do, don’t. He is the centre of this series. The best of the best. A true hero. He is the number one reason I love halo so much. He has such a rich history to. You have one Job 343, dont mess it up please.

I made this list really fast based on what i really want to see in halos future. Please add to it, and alter it. Maybe i made some mistakes that you might want to fix up. Thank you 343 for keeping halo alive.

Johnson is dead. There’s no way for him to come back that wouldn’t be silly.

It wouldn’t be silly? so you are saying it would make sense? and why cant he come back in a flashback or something. Or like he was saved by Agent Locke (ohhhhh plot twist)

  2. Why not exactly? I can’t understand why so many people seem to think Chief is the “center of Halo” or some-such nonsense. What do we lose by removing him?

I don’t understand why people want Johnson to come back so much. That would entirely ruin his death scene in Halo 3. It would go from being the epic, but still shocking ending of a -Yoink!-’s journey to a “lul he comes back later dun worry” moment.

Well I think if 343 killed him off we would end up with way too complicated of a war story. So I think he should stay and be the focus of the games.
