What i think of the music

Just a random comment here. I didn’t like the music. It actually annoyed me when I was playing slowly on legendary dificulty. Especially on the last level. Marty really knew how to handle music. Honestly this is the first time the music ever bugged me in the halo series. I don’t have any fond memories of any musical score. It was really just background noise that I didn’t pay attention to in this game. In other halo games it excentuated the feelings of the moments and really pumped me up. But this game was lacking. I don’t blame 343 or hate them for it. I just think Marty’s absence is felt. Loved the sound effects though, maybe the best in the series

Agreed, the music is really bad.

You dont like it to bad…

It was too low and there wasn’t enough, at several points. The track themselves are great but… It’s weird.

Yeah I’m not sure what it is, but it just didn’t feel right. It was too quiet at times, and didn’t seem to play at the right times. Also sometimes I just wanted it off when I was taking my timy on legendary. I remember in the other halo games it would shut off after a while, and uausually not replay over and over again if checkpoints had to be reloaded. Also the high pitched female vocaliations sound great at first, but they start to grind on me after a while. I think the other games were more choosy about when and where music happened. This game just has too much and it is not loud enough to stand out over the lovely sound effects.

I like the music.

Well I loved the music.

It wasn’t much like Halo, but it still a good soundtrack for the most part.

Some tracks were very reminiscent of Star Wars and Prometheus.

The music is fine, its just that 343 compressed the cutscene audio so it could fit on the disk, so now it sound like -Yoink-, its a disgrace really.
