- Enemy AI is a lot more competent, they actually shoot their weapons now
- Promethean Knights are much better enemy designs with weak points on their sides that can be taken out with the Suppressor/Bolt Shot’s homing projectiles
- The Gungoose gameplay looks so good
- Blue Team being very supportive of John as they entered the Prowler, that scene conveys so much about the team that we felt in the books
- Governer Sloan depicts independent colonies’ reception towards the UNSC really well, and it’s a side of the Halo Universe that hasn’t been explored before in the books
- Buck’s redneck imitation XD

The third mission

Seriously, it’s such a short, yet amazing scene with Dr. Halsey and Cortana. I loved it.
I skipped the third mission, but damn I cant wait to play!
I was curious how blue team would react, and sure enough they just trust johns leadership, no matter what. Just like when they were kids
I loved the scene with Locke and Buck in the hanger.
Buck “… ask politely?”
Locke “No” casually tosses armour inhibitor onto Buck paralysing him.
I just love how the game is all balls to the wall action.
From all I’ve seen this game could turn out to be better than even Halo 2!
I only watched mission 2 since they showed pretty much everything of that mission before these videos released so now we know why chief and blue team went AWOL im not gonna watch anymore campaign footage im going dark on all campaign stuff im gonna stick around for the multiplayer stuff that’s coming im not gonna spoil this campaign for myself like I did with halo 4 I regret that so not gonna make that mistake twice

Yeah that grabbed my attention. Perhaps the possibility of an AI cheating death has him very intrigued? Or maybe dons tinfoil hat he’s somehow been infected with the logic plague?
I also like how the levels change pace, evolve and have variety throughout the course of the missions. Like how Missions 02, 03, 08 and 10 transition between small CQC encounters, wide open firefights, and big vehicle sections.
It does seem the friendly spartan AI sucks on legendary… My fears have come true.

I’ve had the thought come to mind that it isn’t Cortana, but some promethian entity (possibly the Warden Eternal) using a ghost image of Cortana to trick Chief. We know Cortana put herself into the Didacts system at the end of H4…maybe its possible the Warden Eternal got a hold of a part of her or something.

It’s the most likely.
In Halo 4 Cortana directly stated that the terminals were trying, and failing, to access the Domain. It just conveniently happened to open for her sometime shortly before she died?
And we know the Flood is to return at some point in the future, and the Domain was one of their (Precursor) tools. The Gravemind used the Domain to project Forthencho to the Librarian on Earth in order to mock her. Why not use the Domain to trick Chief?
