Mjolnir Mark 6, EVA, recon, EOD, ODST, Military police, scout (Reach), grenadier, CQC, Air assault, Commando, CQB, Hazop, JFO, Mark 5**,** operator, pilot, Gungnir, EVA , Security, Copperhead, Centurion, Hell Jumper, Fotus, Argus, Scout (H5), EVA (H3), Shinobi, Hunter, Achilles, HelioSkrill, Hermes, Athlon Champion, War master, Venator, Mako, Venture, Wet work, Hayabusa. This is my dream helmet list let me know if i missed any but i feel this is a fair set of iconic helmets that any halo fan can grab a helmet and feel at home in halo infinite. I'll see you all on Zeta.

But given the popularity of customisation features in the series, I find it hard to imagine that a lot of old favourites won’t make the leap to the new game.

You are correct about Hayabusa. It’s not 343 IP, so unless they acquire the IP or hammer out a contract with Team Ninja, we won’t be seeing Hayabusa in Halo ever again.

Well that’s interesting. I never knew that. Guess you learn something new every day.
What I’d kind of like to see from Infinite is a compilation of new and old armour both. Even if many of them had to be changed a bit to fit together. It’d be a smart way to help out the two player bases between old and new art styles.
If I’m getting specific though, I’d like to see EOD and Hazop return. Only the EOD helmet carried over to Halo 5 and Hazop was forgotten altogether after Halo 4. I will say that I enjoyed the addition of Cinder though. Despite being different from Reach and H4’s Hazop, at least they added a hazard/containment suit of armour. They only helmet I really need back however is EVA. Always been my favourite and I’ve always worn the helmet in every game.

I have always said that the Shinobi helmet can be considered as a successor/replacement to the Hayabusa armour.

would love for the Athlon (hopefully similar to Lycinus), military police, and security (halo 3) to return. 3 helmets that never need to change to fit with an art style

I’m just hoping for a Mark V helmet that is more faithful looking than the other iterations we’ve been getting here and there for example I don’t think the Halo 3, Halo Reach, Halo 5 Delta, capture the look like the one introduced in Halo 4, and with recent news the GRD Helmet would be cool in Infinite
I’m hoping the Recon Helmet, it’s my overall favorite helmet. I think it’s an overall classic and I like it’s design and story.
