What helmet should I choose for my Spartan?

I am having a hard time deciding what helmet I want my Spartan to wear in Halo Reach. I have it narrowed down to a couple of choices. I was hoping that the Waypoint community would like to share their input. If you choose other, please reply to this with what you would choose and why. Here is what you need to know about my Spartan:

Primary Color: White
Secondary Color: Steel
Chest: HP/Halo
Right Shoulder: EVA
Left Shoulder: Recon
Utility: Default
Knee: Default
Wrist: Default

I just recently switched to EVA with a blue visor. I wore EVA for the first two years of Halo 3 and finally felt drawn back to it. What have you previously worn? And are any of your choices things you had been saving up for?

I loved the Halo 3 EVA but I stayed away from it in Reach because everyone got it as soon as they could. I also loved the Scout so I’ve recently bought it. I’m about to hit 300k Cr but I’m starting to be tempted into buying something or stay saving for something. I feel like the Cr in Reach is dual edged. Unlike Halo 3.

As for myself, I have 3 outfits.

  1. CE’s MC’s Mk.V. But I use ODST shoulders instead of Para or Mk.V shoulders.
  2. Pilot/Driver (current get up)
  3. Recon. FJ/PARA knees, Tac/Rec chest, Utility pouch, GPS wrist, LS ODST, RS UA/MT and Mk.V (B) helm, loaded and with black visor.

When I hit general, I think I’ll have my Grifball-helm. Going to have to make suit for that one too.

I must say, the ODST helmet is pretty sweet looking, regardless of visor color.

For my spartan I decided to settle on the Pilot helmet + attachments with a dark visor. I like the dark visor because I feel it accentuates the mystery surrounding Noble 6’s past, and it looks good with my colors of purple and gold.

Well I liked the CQB helmet in Halo 3, so I used to wear that. I’ll put it on now, no attachments.

Helmet there is only one helmet ill ever wear. MJOLNIR Mk. VI The Chief.

They are ones I already have unlocked, so yeah. In terms of what I used before, I really didn’t do much customizing of my character in Halo 3 only because I kind of liked Master Chief’s setup, but now with Halo: Reach and the cool new armor attachments, I’ve been more into the customizing, especially when it shows it in the Campaign sequences.

Besides the best Chief armor is his CE mark 5 armor

What rank are you? If your above General try the Security pauldrons with either Chief helmet. That combo looks pretty great depending on coloring.
