You know, I’m experiencing the exact same thing.
19-20 ping, teleporting around the map still, markers are taking 2 seconds to place, shots are so delayed that I’m able to reload my AR before the shots finally kill me target.
It’s certainly a mess.

Said this in another thread, but maybe more and more people are just dropping the game, making it harder to get into quality matches. Its so weird to me that I constantly play with the same people match after match. Its not a good sign.

I would tend to agree as it’s clear the population is constantly dropping off a cliff, but when the game is still 5th in Xbox charts then surely that must still mean there is still a substantial population despite the Steam figures. I don’t believe the deniers that say it’s still strong but it can’t be a dead game yet.
The geo filter patch has clearly broken something and made things worse than they were previously…and that could literally be anything as 343i have pretty much admitted they don’t understand the spaghetti code of this game and are wary of even making playlist changes in case it breaks something.
My theory is that this game is broken from the very foundations, and may even need a complete overhaul. It wouldn’t surprise me if there is a team dedicated to creating the game again in another engine then importing and migrating assets…and if there isn’t then there bloody well should be.
Strange, my experience has been slightly better than before the update. I don’t think I’ve been stuck with 100+ ping yet, whereas before the update I would get that roughly once every 6 games.
