Ever since the Meridian update came out, I’ve noticed a huge increase in laggy players, shots not registering, and myself skipping around the map. I know it is not my connection, about 30 ping and every other game works perfectly. Has anyone else had any issues with this?
I have been experiencing the same issues. I faced you a few times in FFA, you are quite good.

Yeah, it’s getting kinda ridiculous. And haha, was it around placement time? I’ve gotten up to champ this season

That’s when the servers completely shut down for me, now it just seems like they’re super unstable

Depends where you are, region locks been removed i am in the uk i have noticed guys lagging out all over the place at times i didn’t have this when region lock was working. There was a certain % who it didn’t work for so they removed it for them.
It is laggier. I have an excellent ethernet connection. It was bad in the last week.

I had some issues the night of the night, but everything stabilized after that. As it always does for me.
I would say it due to the removal of region lock. I have never experience any lag issue so far, maybe a few disconnect only but that’s not the lag you are talking about. Removing region lock now allow people from all over the world to play all together. Of course it does find a game faster for those in region such as UK, Australia, etc, but I think it also comes with lag
I’ve had instances where the frames stop for a second and continue for the trend two more times.

Thats what ive been thinking since i had heard they took it off. There has been seriously a ton of lag as of late. I also stopped lagging out of games once they put the region lock on. But i had my first one in months yesterday. Wish they would put it back on.

Its part of the ridiculous decision to remove region lock. I often wonder how us EU players appear from a US perspective. We must be skipping around map. My best US server pings around 180 and we all know that 180 or worse is perfect for a competetive fps. Wish I always connected to Netherlands which pings 30-50 for me, but 343 don’t want to give us the option, and it ruins the game for both US and EU.
they believe that the more players who can find sjitty games fast, the more players there will be, when in fact the more people that find good games, the more players there will be. I’m pretty sure quality comes before quantity in 2016.
same for me in swat getting headshots but not counting then me dying its really annoying
