I’m honestly getting tired of trying to support this company. I keep giving them a chance, and it seems like every update just lifts me up only to be disappointing.
1.) We have one good arena map out of the three they hashed out. (torque)
2.) New REQs
3.) A warzone map which got divided into two updates. (with questionable spawns)
4.) New REQs
5.) BTB (ha, don’t get me started on this cause i’ll break something)
6.) Forge mode. A tool which is supposed to be in it’s own class, not having the community build the game for 343.
7.) New REQs
8.) Grifball - completely broken, which probably won’t get fixed for a month
9.) New REQs
10.) “Social” playlists that are labeled as such to give us the illusion of social playlists
11.) Infecti… oh wait. Yeah we don’t have infection.
12.) and NEW REQs
You can ask a lot of my friends, I have been supporting this company since MCC, and they just keep letting me down. I’m getting to my breaking point, and I’m sure a lot have already passed that.

Everyone goes on about infection but seriously where is oddball, KoTH, assault with a bomb not a ball, oddball, juggernaut and all the other classic modes?

I generally have been having a lot of Fun on Halo 5. MCC was a huge disappointment and failure but Halo 5 has kept me Locked in and wanting to keep playing it, it reminds me of Halo 2 when I would get home from High School and just grind it out, except I’m 28 now and I get off work and grind it until my Fiancee comes home. I love this game, and I really have a hard time not complaining about all the complainers because I see it differently. Anyways…

Despite its god awful gameplay, Halo 4 even had more of the playlists and structure lacking in 5.

I use grind as a way to express playing as much as I can in a certain time, you’re taking it out of Context. What should never be a concept in gaming is playing a game you don’t enjoy, so move on if you’re un-happy is my final advice.

All your post involves is complaining, no suggestion to improve Halo, offer some sort of advice or improvement and I’ll believe you.

It couldn’t be further from the truth for me, I decided to pick up the game again today after 3 or 4 months and I couldn’t even get through one full Warzone match. I found it so unenjoyable I just quit and I’m thinking about uninstalling the game.

I’ve given a lot of suggestions over the past few months (not so much in Feb though) and nothing has gotten better. Literally every Halo player I’m friends with has stopped playing 5 and I want to like it because I love Halo but I just can’t.
I really don’t know what to suggest anymore because I know nothing will change. I’m just holding out hope for Firefight at this point, hopefully that’ll bring me back.

Except that is not the definition of “grind”.
Grinding is repeatedly doing the same task in order to achieve a specific long-term goal. E.g., resource farming, grinding for EXP, credit grinding, etc.
For example, playing a game every day for a few minutes in order to achieve a specific achievement would still be grind, even if it doesn’t require much time.
Grind also doesn’t have to be boring, you can easily have fun while grinding. But as long as the other criteria apply it’s still grind.
Someone get this man in touch with 343! He’s got the ideas to take this game to the next level! Straight shooter with upper management written all over him.

Complain if you want, but the complainers are complaining because they have complaints. Actually genuine concerns or feelings that something feels wrong. Not all know what is wrong or how to express that.
MCC stayed in the top ten most played until Halo 5 launched. Halo 5 doesn’t even have that. It is constantly off the top ten (Despite all the top players like Destiny, COD, FIFA, Minecraft being the same competition MCC had last year, and yes I know that is a simplification of the situation). But Halo fans played it even though it was broken, there are people playing Halo 5 even though it is in a sense, broken.
Go ahead and enjoy the game, I don’t want to stop you. Doesn’t change the fact that Halo 4, MCC and Halo 5 were all handled poorly and it has shown tremendously in the populations of these games, and the kinds of complaints coming in.
