Every main Halo game has had Chief falling in some capacity in the beginning. After watching the opening cinematic for Halo 5, I came to the realization… that they have replaced Chief… It’s now Locke who is falling. 343 has truly ruined Halo.

Here is what is going to happen Master Chief and Locke both jump from space and go through a guardians head.
I like how 343 is telling the story and its more… storytelling. I just hope Master Chief is still bad–Yoink- and doesn’t become too human to where he doesn’t want to fight no more or something. People talk about him dieing but I just see Master Chief retiring.
Now THAT’s good satire.

Ha, you almost had me because the thread title is similar to some reason once I have seen. Glad that was not another one of those threads.
I have a feeling that Chief/Blue Team might get a more traditional more emotional trailer like in past Halos. Where as Osiris can have the flashy stuff. Not that I don’t want to see Blue Team wrek house. Cause I do. Really badly.
I can just imagine either Chief or Locke landing on the ground after a long fall, and as soon as they stand up the other one immediately lands on top of him.

Too late. The trailer was the intro cutscene to mission one. Unless you somehow haven’t seen it.

m8 i was worried for a second there… and im sure MC will have his chance to fall from space. (Btw locke didnt fall from space, so he still isnt as bad -Yoink- as MC)
