Certifications become useless once you unlock them all. You are basically back to square one once you get them all. So why have them in the first place?
Basically you are saying what’s the point in striving for something like prophets bane when after you get it and use the three it comes with you probably won’t get one again especially if you have everything unlocked?
Once you have the certificiation you have a chance to get that item/weapon in a req packs. When you didnt have the certification you couldn’t even get that item/weapon. For example: If you don’t have the scorpion certification you will never receive a scorpion from req packs.
yes but problem is the odds of getting good stuff diminishes drastically with 1000s of items
> WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I GET ALL CERTIFICATIONS
You die and your soul is released into the heavens.
You realize you wasted a LOT of your life for nothing.
I thought basically the certificates help out when you run out or get low. It raises the stats so you have higher odds to get that then items you have plenty of
When everything is certified, nothing is certified.

this sounds right, will have to test it by not selling certain items for awhile and seeing if they still show up even though I am low on others. If it does work that way I guess I will have to keep a bunch of things I never use just so I don’t keep getting them.

this I am sure of.
also
you can get things you don’t have certs for in random weapon / vehicle reqs

This. That is why most fancy stuff i keep instead of selling, because who knows when i start unlocking more stuff will i ever see the things i really want.
Here’s why. When you don’t have anything certified you can only get a max of two certifications each pack. Sure, you gain massive quanities of those, but it’s too much of one item… Now think of once you have everything certified.
A. You get RP back. For silver you get 3000 RP back.
B. You get about 6-10 cards (I’ve honestly never counted them) And since you already have things certified then you are more likely to get higher ranked gear than lower ranked gear just because when you don’t have anything certified all you get is the lower stuff. If that makes sense…
Essentially Having no certifications gave you massive amounts of one item (For me it was the saw), and having everything certified gives you a much mare varied arsenal

Not exactly. I’m saying when you first start out you have the same odds to get anything as when you have all certifications.

This isn’t true. Here is a quote from the 343.
“once a REQ’s certification has been obtained the player will have a greatly increased chance of finding related REQs when opening REQ Pack”
This states that you just have a greatly increased chance, not that you had a 0% chance. So it is possible to get every REQ card without a certification.

It only gives you a better chance to get those specific REQ cards you have certifications in.

This is my point exactly.

A. Are you talking about selling cards?
B. If you have everything certified you go back to square one. Higher ranked gear would be Rare-Legendary. These are back to square one after you gain all certifications because these are much difficult to get due to rarity. You would actually be more likely to get a common than legendary because of the chances.
So to reiterate my point, you have the same chance to get any REQ when you start Halo 5, than you do when you finish collecting all the REQ certifications.
Possibly more certifications?
You beat Warzone. They will spawn you as the Warden. And everyone is super jelly, so they try to shoot the hell out of you.
I totally agree with Deez Apples
I find only one consequence (purpose) of this system, making players want the certifications they don’t have, and pay for it.
I’m SR67, still no DMR and no Banshee, i really want it, i won’t pay with money but others would.
And if I pay, i’m still not sure to obtain it because of the random system…so i should pay more etc.
343 strategie is to developpe microtransaction sales.
Maybe that’s why they don’t care about connexion issues, but they always launch new skins and cosmetics…

Yes, and between, your chances to get uncertified items decrease…
II 'd like an activating option on these certification cards, so each player could choose to use or not the effect of the card.
(sorry for my english)

Completely untrue. I have gotten Scorpions and Wraiths without certifications for either. Certifications significantly increase the chance of obtaining that item.
As for the OP, I’ve worried about this since I first learned about certifications. Once you have every certification, it will be like you never had any certifications. But the kicker here is that you only opened about 5 REQ packs with 0 certifications under your belt. So It’s still unique in that respect.
To put it bluntly, it’s likely playing the lottery. With a few certifications, it is rigged so you almost always win those REQs. When you have most to all of them, it is a lot less rigged and more random as it should be.

Once you finish with all the gold packs, you can continue opening packs/ saving REQ points for new updates/ promotional packs.
If you open a gold pack after you unlock everything, you will regain 6000 REQ points and get more cards for warzone.
For example, my plan is to first unlock everything, save up to at least 300K, spend 100K, and repeat the process that way.
The assumption I have is that each new DLC uses up about 155K to 180K worth of REQ points, so that way I will always have something saved up in the bank.
I hope this helps!
I have 100% unlocked and I get great -Yoink- every time I open a pack. Golds are only 4k after 100% so it’s easy to keep stuff in stock while saving up. Think about it, after 100% you get 5 gold packs for what used to be the price of 2. You’re going to get cool -Yoink-.
you will get a cookie

That is actually really nice. Still takes too much grinding to get there though.
