Does anyone have an idea of what happened to the UNSC Spirit of Fire and it UNSC forces after Halo Wars 2, Operation Spearbreaker, and Awakening the nightmare? Did the UNSC Spirit of Fire’s forces assist the Banished in defeating the Flood outbreak; or did they pull back and regroup after they saw the Banished positions overrun by the flood and take those positions over?
No one knows yet. There’s no info on the SoF after HW2 and the DLC packs.
I expect we’ll find out with Halo Infinite, after the Infinity goes there while escaping Cortana.
If the Halo that Anders was launching ended up in an area “near enough to Reach” to relay a message, is it possible that Blue Team going to Reach in the new novel could crossover with a distress call?
All we really know is that they’re presumably still fighting Atriox and the rest of the Banished forces on the Ark. We’ll likely find out in either a book, comic, a third Halo Wars game, or like someone else said, in Halo Infinite.
