So if I get to max level in Halo 5 and have a full REQ collection, will I get my rank and collection back, or will I be dishonorably discharged or demoted back to Spartan Rank 1?
That’s something we’ll just have to wait and see. Good luck on getting to max rank, that’ll be quite the feat!
You know, I’d honestly be fine with just keeping my REQ cards and then keeping my rank, with an exclusive VETERAN SPARTAN unlock, then just keep going from Level 152.
This is a joke right?
No. I want my REQ Cards and to flaunt my superiority. Because by the time I get to max rank in Halo 5. It’s likely that Halo 6 will have come out.
But if you carry your REQ cards over to Halo 6, then what will you use in Halo 5? Because I still play all the other Halo games each with my respective ranks. Also that’ll mean we’ll have this awful REQ system in Halo 6
Hopefully you won’t have your collection.

Wait… that will also, potentially, mean…
We won’t get an actual Mk. V GEN1 remake since Halo 4!!

In this day and age, it would be no difficult feat to pull of a collection that you can utilize in both games.
The REQ System isn’t awful. The method of unlocking new armor and customization options is. I prefer Halo Reach Method. Gaining ranks, and unlocking the ability to Requisition armor with the use of Credits.
It’s not like Spartans don’t have Paychecks. You gotta gain experience and credits from being a pro in War games. You don’t work or do good, you don’t get paid as much… mhmm.
We don’t need REQ Points. We need Credits. Damn it. How am I supposed to afford my lunch with REQ Points?
“Sammich Pack 300,000 REQ Points”
I EAT ONCE EVERY 7 DAYS GUYS. Because I’m a Spartan.
Maybe if you kept the cards but not the certs, so if you had like 20 Oni hogs as an example you keep them but cant use them to keep it fair for new players, so when you do unlock the cert again you’ll already have a large number to use. Maybe whenever you buy a REQ pack it unlocks two like normal but them the system looks for any certs you have unlocked in H5 and picks two at random to unlock for H6, so in other words you get 4 from a single pack until you re-unlock all the ones you have in H5 and then continues back as just 2 certs
However for armour, everything you have unlocked should stay unlocked for H6
Kinda hoping the req system doesnt come back haha
This ain’t Destiny, mate. Progress in one Halo game has never carried over to the next one, and that’s even if Halo 6 has the REQ System at all (believe it or not, selling a game to customers tends to produce more money than inherently-unpopular microtransactions).
What makes you think that even if the REQ system is implemented into Halo 6 that it will be compatible with the current system?
It’s a new game. You’ll have to start fresh.
You will start from scratch!!

The REQs make WAY more money than additional units sold b/c no REQs would make.
In apps, free is (well over) 10 times the profitability as paid apps.
Actually, strictly from a financial side, I bet giving Halo 6 away for free would make the most money if the game was good (yes, I’m being serious).
I’d be ok with if they took all the exp and req points you earned (spent and unspent) then cut that in half and thats what you got in halo 6, it would still give you something to do in halo 6 and it wouldn’t be totally unfair for those who jump into halo only then
There is an absolutely zero chance that REQS transfer over to Halo 6. Each Halo is a new game, new multiplayer, etc. Congrats on the high rankings. But theres no way it will carry over.

Couldn’t have said it better myself.
