What happens to ''boosts'' in FF ?

Let’s say you pick a boost and change it again before the match is about to start do you lose it ?

And I have like 1 legendary RP victory boost. If I lose a match of FF do I lose the boost ?

You shouldn’t lose a Victory Boost if the condition is not met. That being said, don’t take my word on it as I haven’t try anything beside RP and XP boost in WZFF.

They changed it a while back so that all boosts should stay with you until you complete a match or fulfill their criteria. That way if you use a Victory boost and lose, or any boost and disconnect, it will go back into your inventory within a game or two. They don’t always reappear immediately due to the REQ system being a bit bonkers though.

You are not supposed to lose boosts. If you use your victory boost, and lose, a the victory boost should be added back to your boost inventory, it may be delayed, but you’ll get it back. They unfortunately patched the Spartan kill boosts in WZF, it was giving out maximum points in the beta.
