My first post on 343, so firstly… HELLO. And please bare with me 
Was playing some Squad DLC last night with some guests, trying to get Highlands 1 Flag CTF so we could all get the highly aggravating achievement(thanks 343!!) where you prevent the other team from getting the flag in either round, and help some others get the equally ridiculous ‘assassination exiting armor lock’ one also.
We didn’t hit the gametype so we were just stuck in a handful of games for 10 minutes waiting for them to end etc. So during this time, as you would expect, people were just mucking about in vehicles, killing guests using comedy methods and whilst others were trying to get the game over with by scoring the 3 flags or by killing the AFKs and trying to rifle through games - and move onto the next matchmaking choice.
And for this, we have all been credit banned for 1 day(I believe)
Unlike alot of other people Ive come across when google’ing, I am not here to moan or complain or make up stories about why I shouldnt be suspended, as I understand why its done it. (although it wasn’t our intention to cheat - we have inadvertently- by our actions triggered the automatic banhammer thing on the servers.
Which is fine by me, as I can understand why. And is a good thing in a way, that it detects such slight irregularities in games so effectively.
Although Im not worried about this, Im a bit worried about how this will affect me in the future. Am I now on constant overwatch for the rest of my Halo Career!!!???
Basicvally, I would like clarification about the legality of the campaign boosting please.
Can I still do the Campaign/Checkpoints for some the Splash Damage accomplishments and some others that I have been taking advantage of recently?
Or will I serve an immediate 2 week ban as soon as I start it, thanks to my new found Halo Reach criminal record!
Also in a note to 343. I think you should do an update where evryone with the DLC, just unlocks those problematic acheivments by just completing a Squad DLC game or something.
Because we tried dozens and dozens of times for some people to get the armour lock/asasination achievement. And it just didnt pop for some of them - so the likelihood of it working in a legit game is so slight, it basically turns what would be a relatively challenging achievement into an almost impossible one.
As for the Flag one, it can only unlock on Highlands 1 Flag CTF… which is fine I guess. EXCEPT!!! It almost NEVER comes up in the playlist!!! Its hard enough getting it to come up as an option, let alone get everyone to vote for it, and then you have the hard task of keeping 6 unorganized players off your flag for 15 minutes over 2 rounds!
Which is easily possible in a team or party I suppose. but my gripe is, regardless of how hard the achievement is. The server extremely rarely gives you the correct platform in which to unlock it. We spent 3 hours last night in Squad DLC & Objective and it never came up once.
I know Ive ranted on a bit there, but I hope you guys understand what I meant & can get back to me about the commendation bossting. And interested on your thoughts about the IMPOSSACHEIVMENTS
