so I’m looking to get the legendary achievement and get my helioskrill, will using the bandana skull in 1&2 affect the achievement in anyway?

I think it will disable achievements if you use the bandana skull.

I’m pretty sure you’ll be able to get it. Just when you finish, go back to the campaign and look through the missions. And if you have not completed the campaigns before, just go through on Easy and it will give you the achievement.
