The scene when all the Prometheans surround Master Chief and the Knight hits him and the screen goes black. I know that was the end of the E3 demo, but do you think Chief does actually get knocked out and the Prometheans possibly bring him to The Didact?

Ok, thanks for the correction man, so this mission won’t really play out the same way we saw it back in June?

I’m just affirming this, they did it with Halo 2, and yeah there just showing off a few new things. It’s doubtful that the prometheans will interact with the chief like the way they did. Especially because of the going into the forerunner vision at that one point and seeing the enemies coalesce out of nothingness onto his HUD. There wasn’t any pre-cinematic experience to that so it’s doubtful that it will happen in the real game. Usually when things like that happen the player is not in control at that point. However, though it is doubtful that that showing will be part of the game, it is a possibility. If it was included, it would almost undoubtedly be slightly different.
It’s just marketing fluff to spice the presentation up. Same as the Halo 2 “betchya can’t stick it” bit or the Reach live action with “Noble jetpacking and bombing the Covie carrier”.

I could have sworn I read he still gets knocked out in a hands on preview, but don’t quote me on that. If he does, maybe the UNSC will save him and that’s when you’re introduced to the Infinity captain?
He doesn’t get knocked out. Majority of that level is completely different.
Mission 3: Forerunner (First time meeting Prometheans)
Mission 4: Infinity (E3 level)
The introduction to the Prometheans will be very similar to the Forerunner level. On the Infinity level, I don’t know what happens before and a little bit after the E3 demo (other than fighting Prometheans at those spots), but I do know you don’t get knocked out, as you end up with Prometheans and Covies working together later on. Some of the “Making of the Forerunners” ViDoc can also help you know some of the things that happen after E3’s knockout scene.
