Honestly what has become of Reach’s grifball community. Now I don’t mean literally everyone but a lot of players (particularly the really high ranked ones) are just complete morons. For instance, I wanted to kick back and chill today so I put in Halo Reach for the first time in months and loaded up a grifball game. For whatever reason everyone was just standing around not even bothering to play the actual game. So when I kill the bomb carrier on the other team (who like everyone else in the game) was just standing around other players on both teams not doing anything. I go and score, the next round everyone in my lobby starts going frantic and particularly targeting me. Yes, my teammates were too. Just spawn killing me over and over. So I just left and tried another game. And surprise surprise, everyone was doing it here too. So I just said -Yoink- it and just went along. A group of 3 high level players were of course, standing there by each other doing nothing. So me being a Lt. Colonel (new account) walked up to the group just to see what the hell was going on. But one just runs up and kills me immediately. I looked and none of them were even in a party together or talking or associated with each other what so ever. My only guess was that it was because I was a low rank or did have all the fancy armor like them. I may be wrong. But its my only guess, but anyway I walked up to the group again and kill the person who killed me for no good reason in the first place. And of course they all just started following me the entire game killing me over and over. And two of them were on my team! So I messaged them and asked why they were doing that. But of course I didn’t get any real response from either of them. Things like this basically just repeated every game of griffball I played since.
And all the people who acted like this had similarity’s in the names and armor.
They all usually had short simple names that were just the most random made up names you could think of. Or they had like an l or Z at the beggining and end of their names. But I guess that’s considered cool nowadays, somehow.
They all typically either had the Mark VI helmet or the Haunted helmet. Robot arm chest piece and the sniper bullets for the arm pieces.
Say whatever you want, I just made this because it makes me sad that my favorite gamemode of all time in Halo since Halo 3 has been ruined by all these dochue bags.
The Grifball community has become toxic. Reach players are only focused on peacemaking and grinding/farming credits. If you don’t play by their rules, they give you the hammer… Quite literally. I’d say unless you happen to stumble upon a group of legitimate players, avoid Grifball for a while.

They’re doing a trick to make it so they can get a -Yoink- ton of credits just to get their -Yoinking!- inheritor faster for the haunted helmet -.- -Yoinking!- cancerous people have ruined grifball. At least its normal in halo 5 I would say.
Honestly, I’m one of them, might you saw me today as I was grinding with 2 other … it was Mrs Dranner xX and a random and me LoliixHentaii , I hate the thing that everyone wears the same armor like those typical stuff, I honestly don’t like being a part of that and never will be

The community itself is fine, those who play it are morons. Also they’re actions go against Xbox Live policies, therefore, you can report them with a legitimate reason, being both cheating and boosting.

Then please stop doing it, as those actions go against some Xbox Live policies and can get you banned. Also, you’re contributing to ruining Grifball.

I agree, it can be a problem, but on the other hand, it can be fun to know that you and half a dozen other players all mutually decide to put away hostilities and just screw around. If a match starts out chaotic like the way it’s intended to be, I enjoy that just as much.
