What happened with Master Chief's stature?

Anyone notice this?

Master Chief stands about 2.13 m tall in armour, and we can see Chief is “one head” taller than Spartan Palmer, both in armour in Halo 4 ending cutscene.

And in Halo 5 cutscenes, Spartan Locke have a similar stature with Spartan Palmer.

But in the cutscene of Chief vs Locke and the ending cutscene, Chief (and all the Blue Team) seems only a bit taller than Locke.

What happened with Chief (and the Blue Team)? Or all the Spartan IV increased their stature?

Spartan IVs are generally as tall as the IIs. The ending cutscene in Halo 4 incorrectly showed her height. She stands just under 7’ tall.

It seems that when you become a spartan, you grow a foot. Lol.

Spartan II’s are taller than IV’s but not by much (with the exception of Jorge, he was a beast).
